Had carpaccio as a starter, completely drenched in some white sause and balsamic vinigar to mask up the bad quality. Then I had the worst lasagne ever, stomach felt really bad the whole evening. Never again

After the restaurant we had originally planned to dine at was close, we stumbled upon this place. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, however the food was incredibly sub par. We got in Volterra pretty late for lunch on a winter saturday and we found this restaurant next to the main square. Well-used by the locals. Lovely, Tuscan restaurant with pleasant staff and inexpensive, nice food. You may prefer to have an upstairs table (where the locals go) rather than a street level table.

Server was extremely attentive and went the extra step to explain the menu. Food was served quickly, excellent pizza. You can't go wrong with this restaurant

We were in Volterra on our bicycles, and we were happy to find a warm and homey atmosphere, tasty hand made pastas and nice half-bottles of wine, as well as an out of the way place to store our (expensive) bicycles. I really enjoy my pasta (Pici all'aglione) on this restaurant where you can feel a kind of family atmosphere. Service was quick, very kind and nice. Don't skip it when you are in Volterra
