Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful food, professional service

We had a great multi-course meal at this great restaurant in Volterra. We also attended a cooking class at the restaurant, so saw the kitchen and meal preparation first hand. This is a restaurant that takes great pride in serving first class fare. I would rate it as my favorite in Tuscany (thus... read more

We were staying about a 45 min drive away and decided to drive to Volterra to see the town and have dinner at this restaurant and it certainly was a great find! The town (like many in the area) was gorgeous and arriving just as the sunset across the hills made for a stunning view. We sat outside in the... More

Very good restaurant within Volterra walls. Very nice restaurant serving local dishes as well. Food was really enjoyable but wines were very expensive. Very good good atmosphere to spend your evening.

We had one of our top 3 lunches on this 2 week trip to Italy, at Ristorante Enoteca Del Duca. First off, the waiter was extremely friendly and spoke perfect English. The vegetable soufflé was incredible for an appetizer, I highly suggest that. Then I had the bread soup with with sausage special, and my wife had lentil, potato and... More

The chef had excelled with the food for a wedding reception held at the Villa Nencini. We thus decided to test his restaurant for our last meal in Volterra. The restaurant has a great ambience, excellent service and impeccable food. We had a course each off the luncheon menu followed by a beautifully presented cheese platter. A glass of house... More

This is a family run restaurant in Volterra, where the wife Ivana is the chef. She has a varied menu of regional specialties that we sampled over 2 visits. Our favorite was the stuffed guinea fowl. The wine list is extensive and expensive. However, try the Marcampo wines which are made by the family in their estate outside of town.... More

We ate here while in Volterra after reviewig Trip Advisor recommendations. Raters did not steer us wrong. The meal, atomosphere, and service were excellent! I had the steak with truffles and my husband had the wild boar. Both were fabulous. The atmosphere was classy yet trandtional Tuscan. I highly reommend this restauarant.

Really tasty and good value. The service was a little slow, but did not impact on our experience. The Enoteca is a beautiful little place, all vaulted ceilings. Really enjoyed our lunch there.

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of friends who had dined here previously. We had a nice table outside and the menu looked promising however our experience overall was mixed and a little disappointing. The steaks ordered by the men in the party served with truffle were apparently good and the souffle starter ordered by a female friend was... More
