Good Regional Cusine

Went here to try some unique food to the region. Had the selection of local cold cuts, seasonal vegetable (grilled zucchini), pigeon terrine, leg of rabbit. Everything was good - although maybe not exceptional. The pigeon was in some kind of sausage, ground and mixed with spices. I don't know... read more

Lovely setting for lunch outside under umbrellas.nicely presented tables delicious food, good wine and felt quite a formal setting by the professionalism and the dress of the waiters. We had children with us,we arrived dead on opening where I was concerned the children may make noise and upset guests but as the tables began to fill there was a nice... More

I went to Ristorante Enoteca del Duca as I was scouring this part of Tuscany for an article and I was looking forward to trying out the food. The restaurant at lunchtime was more than half empty and I asked whether we could sit at a table laid out for five as this was the only place available in the... More

Had a nice but not very special dinner there. The ambiance was absolutely too chic for the quality. The waiters were certainly trainer for star restaurants, which quality we didn't discover. Due to the € recommendation we found it more €€ prices

We only had a one-course lunch, but it was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my tagliatelle cacciatore (wild boar and truffle), while my wife savoured a great and fresh carpaccio salad with bits of grapefruit and shaved parmezan. This was served to us al fresco, in their secluded courtyard garden. Their extensive wine list is very impressive, bottles priced from €18... More

Best dinner of our entire vacation throughout Italy! My steak w/ truffle oil was incredible and their "house" made was not to be considered with any other house wines, it was fantastic.

This is Tuscan food done very, very well. The Florentine steak was classic, perfectly prepared, and carved table side. For me, the tagliolini with carbonara and truffles might have been even better. Desserts were beautifully presented and delicious - chocolate mousse with a grace note of dark caramel, zabaglione, a terrine of three chocolates and fresh tasting fruit sorbets. Drink... More

Lovely restaurant. Best food I've had in Italy! The suckling pig with grilled beans were marvelous. Staff very attentive. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful meal here -- but the setting in a stone building with stonework and stucco and elegant table setting really adds to the experience. We were offered prosecco when we arrived, which of course we said yes to! We had Gnocci stuffed with ricotta and spinach in a cream sauce topped with black truffle bits. Also, thick... More
