Very good place, nice and quiet atmosphere. We had Lasagne and Pizzas, all very good, and good red vine as well. Friendly waitress.

A nice place at the walls with great pork sausages, excellent pizza and low prices. The service was great, too.

I really wanted to like this restaurant but it was not a good experience. I have real difficulty understanding the positive reviews, maybe something changed. I know sometimes a restaurant has an off night, but it was poor enough all the way around from the sticky and dirty plastic menus to the inedible appetizer, off-tasting pasta dishes and gristly meat,... We ate here on the last night of our holiday as it was right by the villa we were staying in. Our drinks and meals arrived quickly. Unfortunately my main wasnt to my taste- nothing wrong with it- just not for me. I ordered a tomato and mozzarella salad instead as i knew it would be quick which it was,... More

When man wants to eat well, he will certainly have to go to '"Osteria della Pace". Because if you have well understood the connotation of the local, you know that you can not be disappointed by the scenery, service, and of course, food; because the local is prepared for each dish as possible and imaginary, while retaining the name "Osteria".... This small lively family run restaurant was recommended in our guide book and surpassed our expectations. I find it hard to eat badly in Italy however this restaurant would rate as one of our best meals. The extensive choice included sea foods, home made pasta with truffle, grilled meats and the owner (Gina) has local culinary awards displayed in the restaurant.... if you want to try the real italian food experience, look no further: this is the place. Was there with friends, everything authentic food and atmosphere at a very reasonable price. Eaten in many restaurants in tuscany (I am italian) but this is the best place i have been.

We had a very enjoyable lunch following our drive to Volterra from Lucca. We arrived late in the lunch period but were treated very nicely. The restaurant just happened to be inside the gate where we entered, above the public parking area at the bus station - we were starving and sought immediate nourishment without any expectations. We were pleasantly... More

Very friendly service. The owner of the restaurant gave us a very warm welcome. And the food was delicious. Would recommend highly.

Sorry chaps but this was not a good dining experience and I am not sure how the restaurant has achieved so many good reviews. Our pizzas were cooked to a crisp and the toppings were not that great. The gratinated chicken however was good. We left quickly before dessert.
