The resto is a bit out of the city centre and you need a car to get there. It is certainly not suitable for a romantic dinner "en amoureux" but if you are looking to sample typical Sardinian food served in an efficient, a la "wedding dinner" manner, and you are VERY hungry, this is a great value for money... My wife and I and our 2 boys (8 and 9 years old) had dinner here a few nights ago. We went with the fixed menu for €32, although I'm not sure if we had a choice on this or not. The waiter just showed us to our table and starting bringing food. We are all Italians, so there was... More

It's the only 'agriturismo' ( a real one i think : they seem to cook mostly local products) in this area, so just ask around in town to find it. You should call and reserve a table and ask about the day's menu. Service is ok, and though they don't have tables outside you can walk a bit in the... More

Really nice tasty dishes, the pork BBQ is superb, its a fixed menu thing and very good value for money. the portions are big so make sure you are hungry, the restaurant itself its beautiful. the only thing I did not understand is the vegetable bowl together with the pork.... cucumber/salad/radish/tomato whole, not peeled?! couldn't really stay there at the... Beautiful atmosphere, very good food. However we expected something more with regard to the "porceddu" or baby pig. I think we got the worst parts of it and it was somehow tasteless. For the rest we enjoyed everything. Highly recommend if you accept the compromise of a fixed menu.

I phone to book a table for four people and i was told no problem. We arrived and the waiter seated us at the table. He did not spome anyhow and started bringing appetizers. Then plates came in one after another with no stop. Only because i previously read the reviews i knew that the dinner would consist of a... More

This farm is located well outside Villasimius a ten minutes drive to the north. We wanted to try a typical Sardinian dinner made from local produce. Since Sa Bingia has a very high ranking we thought it should be well worth a visit. The menu and price is fixed. For 30€ per person you are served "a traditional Sardinian dinner... More

Slightly outside the town centre of Villasimius, but well worth the 5 mins drive for traditional Sardinian dishes. The place has doesn't have a menu. Food is brought out round after round - ideal for foodies who eat everything! The main dish is the local roast suckling pig, which is actually roasted in a huge open air rotisserie at the... More
