Why is this restaurant so far up the recommended chart???? Worse pasta ever clams not even open and so salty. Don't know if chef was on holiday but cannot see how have got good reviews. Service was such that felt like we were not wanted there. Practically empty every day so should have just walked by.

We had read about Vic'Street, and stumbled across it meandering back to our hotel one day. Made reservations for that evening. Food was OK. Wine was ---OK. Service was-----OK. All in all , an OK experience, but there are a lot of choices even in little Vice Equense.

We had read previous reviews on tripadvisor and thought we would give the restaurant a try and were glad we did. So glad I felt compelled to comment on our experience. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. Upon being seated we were promptly brought complementary welcome prosecco based drinks and nibbles, this was a lovely touch. We... More

Based on raves from TripAdvisor, we saved this restaurant for our last night of vacation. Huge mistake. I agree with the other recent posters who rated it Terrible and can only guess what has led to the downfall of what sounded like a once excellent place. I could drone on in detail about the experience, but I'll summarize. It took... More

We visited this restaurant earlier this week whilst in the area on holiday due to the excellent reviews it has received on Trip Advisor. The restaurant was quiet on this particular night but that didn't stop the owner and his daughter creating a brilliant atmosphere! Food was excellent value and was of high quality. One word of warning though, make... More

Local gem we found on trip advisor... Very different from other 9 days of our dining experiences in Italy... Owner and his daughter ordered every course for us... Food was good.. Service was better... And the family style experience topped it off... Dont go if you are not hungry, unfomfortable with the language barrier, or don't have cash... Just a... More

After reading about Vic Street on trip advisor i took my husband on a Sunday night. It isnt too hard to find but off the busy main square. When we arrived we were the only people and felt a bit strange. The food was good and the waitress very helpful

After reading reviews on trip adviser we decided to try Vic's Street, it is well tucked away and a little hard to find but we carried on walking and eventually found it! When we arrived there were no other diners which worried us slightly but we decided to go in anyway, the restaurant was small but clean and traditional, the... More

Elegant without being snobby - cozy atmosphere. Excellent service and delicious food. Menu contained nice variety of selections. Off the beaten path, not crowded and but a good bet! Just be aware that the 3E for tenderloin steak and 5E for grilled steak are PER GRAM, NOT the entire price of the entree. Excellent meals!!

We had read so much on trip advisor that we searched out this restaurant, it really is tucked up a side-street and unfortunately it was empty so we dithered on whether to go in, we decided that the write ups made it worth the effort and another 2 people came in so it wasn't completely empty. The man working (owner... More
