Our family really enjoyed our meals at Al Buco. We had the tomato and rucola salads - very fresh and tasty! Then, the fettuccine with sausage, ham, mushrooms, and capers in tomato cream sauce, and fettuccine with king prawns. We also had the fresh fish of the day. The staff was friendly and professional, and although the food service was... More

My daughter and I were promptly seated, brought menus and drinks without delay. This was a new experience for us in Italy... We were pleased! Our waiter was very efficient, friendly and did I mention fast, he would slide around corners to make sure everyone was taken care of. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal. The bill... More

Good food, reasonably priced. Cheap house wine. Cordon bleu it is not but the food is tasty, good portions and a good choice. Service was friendly and although the place was very busy both times we went there were no long delays. Restaurant is very child friendly so if you can't cope with hundreds of kids running round, don't go!

On holiday in the area we were caught in a hinder storm and used tripadvisor in my iPhone to locate this restaurant for an early (by Italian standards) lunch. Were promptly seated in an empty restaurant and served bruschetta pomodoro and seafood risotto followed by pizza and swordfish respectively washed down by small carafes of house dared and white. The... More

Looked at other reviews and gave it a try. Very busy with locals but food very bland. Only 2 waiters for a packed restaurant. Wouldn't go again

Stumbled across this after we decided to head away from the main square to grab a bite to eat. As it was packed with locals with families we thought we couldn't go too wrong, and we were right! The pizzas were wonderful and the local (very cheap!) chilled sparkling house red wine was lovely... Recommended for a bit of cheap,... More
