I am a writer and author of fish cookbooks. I have eaten in fish restaurants all over the world. The fish at Antica Locada da Luca is fresh and abundant. Coming from the state of Maine and eating fish often, it is my opinion that this restaurant is one of the best of the best. The owner is right there... More

The ambient is typical and the cooking is old and traditional : simply and good. The restaurant's speciality is fish but the menu presents some specialities from hinterland like the starter of bruschetta and fried polenta with different relish (mushroom or fegatini - chicken liver) We eaten bruschetta and fried polenta, fish soup, fried fish and a grilled sea-bass. The... More

We enjoyed every bit of our meal. Fried fish dish was excellent. Contained veggies, shrimp, calamari. Had a great gnocchi with lobster dish. Sea bass was great also. If you have the chance, you must go.

We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere in this busy restaurant. Good choice of dishes and all well presented. Good quality food and wine at very reasonable prices. A nice touch - the chef comes to the table to write out your bill - shows confidence.

We were a little disappointed with this restaurant. I had read very good reviews on tripadvisor, but we found everything from food to service to just be okay. Not bad, but not wonderful either. Perhaps it was because we were a group of ten.

Our hotel recommended this place on the first night because it 2 minutes away. Didn't make a reservation but luckily got 2 seats (I suggest making a reservation). Heavenly cheese plate. Do not miss this if you like cheese!! The rest of the seafood was pretty good but nothing special (Spaghetti perfectly al dente but the linguini were overcooked). House... More

This restaurant is away from the beach but a neighorhood favorite. The quality of the food is outstanding. The restaurant fills up early, but they do accept reservations. The fish was wonderful and so was the pasta.

Over judged by tripadvisor community. Good choice of both fish and meat but finally dishes are rich of everything out of what you choose: for instance, the fish home starter should be made of 6 fish portions but it is mainly green salad with a couple of fish pieces for each fish type. First dishes include fish but also too... More
