Always a pleasure

I have been going to Varazze for several years, and I always have a couple of meals at the Lo Spuntino. I have always eaten well, but more important, is that I always get a warm welcome, and a relaxing stress free eating experience there. If, like me, your Italian falls far short of adequate, having a friendly English speaker makes for more comfortable dining. Add to that excellent meals from pizza to a fuller menu and you will find yourself coming back again and again.

Whenever I am in Varazze, I have always eaten well at Lo Spuntino. Also the owner, Antonio and the waiter, Ricardo are very welcoming, and for me this is what makes a good restaurant excellent. Antonio speaks good English, and is always helpful, because he has worked in England and knows very well how fussy we english can be sometimes.

A pleaseure to be the first english-speaking review! As with all other restaurants here, gets very busy at weekends but the manager was able to squeeze us in. Authentic and good value cuisine - do try it!
