As with any restaurant in the area, menu is very similar, so are the quality of food. Honest, decent, inexpensive Italian food. Good location with sea view. Nice host.

We went to Tropea during the off-season and realized to our dismay that the town shut down. Completely. There were only about 3 or 4 restaurants open that seemed just okay, and we resigned ourselves to having made a long trip to see a ghost town that was probably quite charming in the summer.
La Villetta was the saving grace....

While in Tropea over new year December 2012/January 2013 we visited this restaurant most evenings. Huge range of pizzas, freshly made of course. Freshly made pasta dishes which we tried were all tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful over the menu. Willing to make a vegetarian special which was not on the menu for my wife. Good value for money....
