Great fish place

This restaurant is not a place you just will walk by. You have to find your way in all the alleys of Tropea. Great food. No mest. Pizza and fish dishes. Great food. Well worth the visit. Hard to get table during certain hours.

Our family of four had a memorable dinner experience. Upon arrival there were no free tables outside, so we opted for the air conditioned inside hall - and were not disappointed. We had a selection of local cheese and cold cuts - wonderful. All our main courses did not arrive simultaneously, but we actually did not mind, they handled the... More

Great restaurant with lovely food and wine! Be sure to book a table in high season though cause otherwise you might miss out! Really great, take fish here it's amazing! I had fish carpaccio and then some day catched local fish and both dished where one of the best meals I've ever had in a restaurant. Reasonable prices as well!

Beautiful location in old town with outside seating right on narrow streets. Perfect pizza and seafood pastas. Good own bottled wine. Realy reasonable prices. Kind personal and romantic italian style atmosphere

This was my second time at Al Pinturicchio (I went last summer and forgot to write a review). Absolutely incredible food. Simple and fresh. We sat outside, but the indoors dining room is equally lovely. Service is very amicable and you must try the seafood crudo! Can't wit to go back!

We went here because of a recommendation from our B&B hostess and despite the rather low ranking on the TA website . Very glad we did . It's a bit hard to find , though nothing in Tropea is that hard , but worth it . Very nice physical plant and decor . Quite comfortable with minimal noise problems .... More

We only visited Al Pinturicchio once during our stay but I'd definitely go back next time I'm in Tropea. We were given a recommendation to try the pizzas so that's what we did & they were great. I had the Vampata made with local salami & Nduja so very firey & my husband had the quatro stagione, both were very... More

Lovely little restaurant in one of the many little alleyways of Tropea. Inside the restaurant is a beautiful stone vaulted ceiling and a traditional pizza oven. Outside there are candlelit tables set in the alleyway. The food is good, offering fish dishes, pizzas and local specialities at affordable prices. The service is good and the restaurant has a good atmosphere.

One of the best things about Tropea was all of the medieval cobblestone alleys and the restaurants hidden within them. Al Pinturicchio was recommended to us by a local and it was certainly a great recommendation. We got to sit al fresco in the quaint alleyway. All of the food was tremendous, but it was the eggplant parmigiana primi course... More

We had a very delicious meal here tonight. Very helpful service. Interesting menu. Try the gnocchi with little shrimp and tomatoes. Also the sardine tart and potato crusted bass. Great food.
