A great meal.

We only visited Al Pinturicchio once during our stay but I'd definitely go back next time I'm in Tropea. We were given a recommendation to try the pizzas so that's what we did & they were great. I had the Vampata made with local salami & Nduja so very firey & my husband had the quatro stagione... read more

We went here because of a recommendation from our B&B hostess and despite the rather low ranking on the TA website . Very glad we did . It's a bit hard to find , though nothing in Tropea is that hard , but worth it . Very nice physical plant and decor . Quite comfortable with minimal noise problems .... More

Lovely little restaurant in one of the many little alleyways of Tropea. Inside the restaurant is a beautiful stone vaulted ceiling and a traditional pizza oven. Outside there are candlelit tables set in the alleyway. The food is good, offering fish dishes, pizzas and local specialities at affordable prices. The service is good and the restaurant has a good atmosphere.

One of the best things about Tropea was all of the medieval cobblestone alleys and the restaurants hidden within them. Al Pinturicchio was recommended to us by a local and it was certainly a great recommendation. We got to sit al fresco in the quaint alleyway. All of the food was tremendous, but it was the eggplant parmigiana primi course... More

We had a very delicious meal here tonight. Very helpful service. Interesting menu. Try the gnocchi with little shrimp and tomatoes. Also the sardine tart and potato crusted bass. Great food.

Pinturicchio is another hidden gem in the back streets of Tropea. The menu is interesting and always freshly cooked. The antipasti Tipico is amazing and enough for two to share. The pizza is always good and never expensive. Try his house wine - its delicious!!

The nicest place to eat in Tropea in my view. Situation in a narrow street, mainly outside, is fun and buzzy. Food was on three separate occasions always good to very good, appetising; fresh fish, great pasta and pizzas. A cut above the rest but NB reservations essential unless you want to wait half an hour or more; very popular... More

My wife & I liked this restaurant so much we went back on our last night. The food was wonderful & typical of Calabria & was accompanied by excellent wine. The whole meal was served by excellent waiters. As it was July, we had the great pleasure of eating in the open air. The restaurant is very popular & it... More

This was one of our best restaurant experiences of our trip. We didn't have a reservation but they provided a nice table after a short wait. Even through we new most of the menu, out waitress translated everything for us. We were not disappointed in the seafood appetizer. The eggplant was great too. Main seafood dishes were very good.
