Unfortunately I don't eat Oysters - a shame as clearly Al Buco specialises in them - and most other sea-food. The have the largest display of fresh oysters, mussels, etc etc I've ever seen with a specialist 'chef'' waiting to deal with new orders. Good wine list and advice. Just one meat dish for any non-fish eaters! Good range of... More

We ordered two linguine with seafood. Looked delicious but one portion had much less pasta than the other and my husband asked for more. Took a couple if bites, tasty, then found a hair in my dish. The offered to make another. Five minutes they said. 15 minutes later they brought us two fresh plates. Good move and we were... More

My wife and I had visited the gelateria and bar associated with the restaurant earlier in the day and were impressed with the friendliness of the staff. We decide to book into the restaurant that evening. It was the best meal of our stay in Puglia. Service was excellent. All the other diners were Italian and included families and couples.... More

The four of us had a lunch of grilled items, prawns, cuttlefish, octopus and grilled vegetables. Two large bottles of mineral water and a large bottle of good local beer brought the bill to 88 euros, not bad value for money at a fairly pricey restaurant. The cooking was not sophisticated but good, the views out over the rather stormy... More

We had lunch and dinner at this restaurant and on each occasion we were all very satisfied. The pasta a ricci, ie sea urchins is a must for any avid traveller. Unfortunately the menu dictates that two must order the dish. it was well worth it. The ice cream shop next door which is run by the same family serves... More

Service was very slow and surly, we were bitten to death by mosquitos, food was pricey and average. Wouldn't hurry back

typical Italian restaurant, with no price list, and everything you pay for is the seawiew: 140 euros for two risotto, one small (very small) grilled octopus, local home, no more.. No words for it.

I went a lot of times to this restaurant and service and food were always amazing. The location is wonderful and near the sea. Price is aligned with quality. I will certainly go back here.

We had lunch here, sitting on the terrace above the sea. There were many Italian family groups feasting on Antipasti Misto and grilled fish with evident enjoyment. I had the raw seafood starter which compressed oysters, clams and two types of mussel on he half shell, as bright and fresh as I have ever had. The shellfish are kept in... More
