Fabulous restaurant now closed

We were in Todi recently and saw the restaurant was closed and the whole property is for rent. What a shame. John's cooking was so good and this was such a nice place to go. He will be sorely missed.

I selected this restaurant to try in Todi based upon Trip Advisor reviews. Chef John did not disappoint! Although we didn't have a reservation we arrived shortly after noon and were lucky to get one of the few unreserved tables. We shared the wonderfully original antipasti plate, followed by an amazing vegetable barley soup and a shared order of veal.... More

Delicious local selection of foods for the Antipasti with huge portions. By far the best I have ever had. The simple truffle pasta was also spectacular. The place is small and cosy as well and would definitely go back as soon as I'm next in Todi

I simply love this tiny restaurant, John the chef is very, very good. His famous caccio e peppe plate is really fabulous. I love to eat also the fresh fish of the day. Fully recommend it.

It was a very cold day between x-mas and Eve. we were fortunate that the last table for 2 persons was available . the service was not quick but when the food is coming (pasta & truffle, or pasta &....) the time is not a big issue anymore. We have really enjoyed the very good food, wine and the quality... More

Good food but we expected more after reading the reviews. Tartufo pasta cacio e pepe was excessively rich and portion was overwhelming. Lamb was good. The atmosphere is a little sombre and gloomy, and the weird south east asian themed menu left us perplexed.... A little pricey as well!

We enjoyed our meal at this restaurant when we visited Todi. The decor is charming with a cosy ambience and the staff were friendly. Our food and wine selections were generally good. The main course dish I chose was a slow roasted meat which was a little bland and in desperate need of some sort of sauce. Everyone else at... More

A planned visit to Todi today had me pulling up Trip Advisor to see what the #1 ranked restaurant in town was. We arrived off peak hours to be greeted by John who had two other tables seated. John took the time to explain the menu to us, I explained that I am a simple kind of spaghetti guy. He... More

This charming, little restaurant offered us an interesting menu, delicious food, excellent local wine, and a nice conversation with chef/owner John. Because John is Scottish and his wife is Italian, the dishes were accented with much more of an international flavor than our typical Italian meal. Everything we had we truly enjoyed, including the delicious tiramisu, which has to be... More

A group of us staying at a nearby Villa dined at this fabulous Todi restaurant one evening. The food was plentiful, authentic and so tasty. We had a variety of dishes and everyone was happy with their selections. To our surprise the master in the kitchen was originally from Scotland. His Italian food ranks with the best we've had on...
