Good for coeliacs

Le Scalette merited a 4 rating on the basis of its excellent provision for coeliac clients. My husband was thrilled to be given gluten-free torta al testa which he said was possibly the best gluten-free bread he'd ever had. However, apart from this both food and service were somewhat disappointing... read more

This may be a little difficult to find, but ask any local for directions. Inside is very cute, but if weather is nice. go out on the terrace for a nice view over the valley below. I hear pizza is good, but I have veal and rosti potatoes, excellent.

Restaurant with loads of charm - beautiful setting - very Umbrian looking, stone walls, iron furniture! We ordered multiple antipastos, delicious, then our main course, equally delicious & abundant

We arrived for lunch on a very warm day for October and the outside terrace was closed. They opened it on our request and after that more couples joined us. The antipasto was good, the pasta was way too big. I barely managed to finish it. But when the main course arrived I glad I had stopped! The wild boar... More

Went here for my little brothers birthday, a group of 11 people. Staff were more than helpful. We all shared a couple of platters of Antipasti which was full of fresh local ingredients. Then had wide stripe pasta with buffalo to follow. Very good standard of food and all for a very reasonable price.

Compared to other pizzas in Todi - this was by far the most disappointing. Cavour much better and cheaper! The service was relatively slow - and uninspiring - starters bland and heavy (deep fried courgette flowers should be about the flower not thick batter), The truffle pizza disastrously bland - whilst there was truffle on it - I am pretty... The terrace was full when we visited (and everywhere else on the same street was full )so we ate inside which was fine. 2 of us chose pizzas and 2 had wild boar parpadelle. The pasta was fantastic and we would highly recommend. The pizzas were good but after already having had the best pizzas of the holiday at Al... More

We visited Le Scalette with friends who recommended it and we were not disappointed. The view from the terrace is stunning and it's the perfect place to share a bottle of wine and enjoy the great food - we had pizzas which are very good and very big, highly recommend this restaurant and would visit again.

We went for lunch with a family of four and arrived 14:15 and we were told the kitchen closes at two. On the phone we we're told they end lunch at 14:30. After a short discussion they still were friendly enough to accomodate us. We had some pastas and a plate of mixed grilled meats, their home made fries, grilled... More
