A wonderful terrace with a superb view of the Umbrian landscape from top of the hillside village of Todi. The food was very good, and excellent service.

We recently were there for dinner and the food was excellent. We did eat pasta with truffles, pasta with wild boar, carpaccio and salad and we were really satisfied. Also the wine was really good. The staff was friendly and attentive and the views from the terrace were stunning. In my opinon a bit pricy.

We were there in late Fall and the weather was chilly, so it was lovely that they had the fireplace going and cooked meats in there--lends it a nice ambiance. The food was lovely, the service was top-notch. We returned for another meal.

Oh my! There are so many strong but divergent views on this restaurant. We hadn't seen any of the write-ups before our lunch. We had planned to be in Orvieto, but it was shrouded in mist, so we decided to press on to Todi. We walked around the town and opted for a restaurant with a traditional and quality ambience... More

Many years ago we had a memorable lunch at this restaurant and so we returned recently with high hopes. Obviously there is new ownership. While the view is still magnificent, the building charming, and we had a wonderful bottle of wine from Monte Falco, the food was so very disappointing. It is rare in Italy that you feel like you... Among Todi's many fine sites and restaurants, this is a stand out. It's tricky to find, but well worth the effort. The food was lovely, the service elegant, the view to die for; make a reservation!

I feel i need to write in response to an extraordinary reply to a critical review from a tourist , stating their experience at the Umbria restaurant. As a member of their party we were so disappointed we had advised them on this choice for the special dinner they were arranging. Having not been there ourselves in our last three... More

We looked at the menu, then looked at the outstanding view and chose our table for dinner - 2 days away. We arrived for dinner with great expectations, unfortunately it was a letdown from beginning to end. The antipasto was very ordinary, and the main dishes were too. Sadly I could not recommend this place to any of our friends.

We called into Ristorante Umbria without booking, and had a very good lunch. Food is very traditional, with an accent on game - we had wild boar and roe deer, preceded with Umbrian antipasti. This is not lightweight stuff, but good solid rural cooking. Staff were charming and attentive, and the view over the countryside is marvellous. Highly recommended.

Ok. The location, view and decor is right up there. If you could sit for an hour peacefully contemplating the staggeringly pretty view from high in Todi over the kilometers of rolling farmland dotted with homes and villages it would rate 5 stars.  The moment Mauricio takes your order for dinner you just ruined a delightful evening. The food from... More
