Good food, nice location, service could be better.

This restaurant is located just off the Piazza in Todi, which is a very picturesque city in Umbria. There was 8 of us there for lunch and it was good if not outstanding. I had the braised hare and it was lovely, unfortunately the service was mediocre at best. Certainly not friendly and a couple of... read more

Recommend highly this restaurant off the main Piazza. Enjoyed the boar, duck, venison, lamb and pasta we ordered. Had a very nice house red. Cuisine seemed local and tasted fresh. Definitely wanted to return!

My husband and I went to Ristorante Umbria for lunch. Although the apartment we were staying in in Todi had views from every window we were blown away by the views when we walked out on the terrace of the restaurant. We each had two courses which is unusual for us - we usually only have one. I had the... More

This place has a knockout view across to the East, the best view you will get in Todi. We went for lunch and found the food service and house wine all very good. Not a five star resturant but we could not fault it and would return if we came back to beautiful Todi.

Definitely worth the visit for the view if not the food, we enjoyed our experience. We were greeted and served cheerfully and efficiently. We decided to split the pasta with truffles as our first course. The pasta seemed homemade and the truffles were as expected for the reasonable price. The duck stuffed with lentils we found out later is a... More

We ate here several times. The first time was day time because of the view and lunch was good. The 2nd time we ate here mainly because they had agretti which is an outstanding new vegetable we do not have in the states. It was again good but the staff was not overly friendly. The third time it was because... More

We had one dinner there but did not want to go there once more. The view from the terrace is great, the food is good too but the service - at least on that evening - was not the same quality.

Having just moved to Spoleto in Umbria I have been looking for a 'special' place to go when putting up friends (they pay, you understand!) and I think today I found it. We stumbled on this enchanting little restaurant by accident and could not have been luckier. One of the best located restaurant I have been to for ages, set... More

We went to the restaurant twice as we enjoyed it and with locals there to it was clear others enjoyed too. Broad bean soup and Etruscan soups very good as were meat on the grill cooked on the open fire. Pasta also recommended.

This was the best glutin free linguini, it was delicate & light, tasted freshly made. They could accommodate most sauces. The wild boat was delicious but a bit salty. Great view!
