Wonderful fish pizza and pasta

Some time a street filled with places to eat can make you feel lost finding a place to eat. After looking at all the great reviews here we decide to try it. The pizza was well cooked in a wood burning over. It was not to thick or too thick but just right. The waiter did ask if we wanted... read more

We eat more times in Lo Squalo during our two week vacation in Tirrenia, and we were delighted every time. Excellent food (some great specialties like Ravioli with whole-nuts, pizza porcini), correct prices, great location and perfect service. Each time we experienced an unbelievable fast service, I don't know how they manage it, because this is not common in most... More

Very good place and delicious sea food. Big portions, with a nice touch. Local fish grilled with vegetables and the entreé assortment are unique. Quite expensive but it compensates. And at the end one of the best tiramissu I have ever had.

One of our favorite places to dine in Italy (for many years). The food always comes to the table with an artistic flare and the taste is just as wonderful. It doesn't matter if you want a full meal, a pizza or dessert you will leave with a smile on your face. If you are in the area it is... More

We found this restaurant after reading the reviews on here and it surpassed even their rave reviews. Great food served alongside a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ended up coming 2 nights in a row as decided it wasn't worth putting up with something when this was by far the best restaurant in the resort

Good food and quality service. Staff are accomodating and speak English. Aside from the wine, the best part is the dessert! Cream puff pastries are absolutely delicious.

We have just come back from 10 nights staying at the Grand Hotel Continental in Tirrenia, we were B&B and chose to eat out at the local restaurants each night, we rarely go to a restaurant twice as we like to try as many as possible, we made an exception for this one though and went 3 times. The place... More

I went to Lo squalo with big expectations for the quality of Pizza. I was disappointed. The place is very noisy, but the service is quite efficient. Not really impressed by the menu. It's in downtown Tirrenia, so you can take a walk after the meal

Lo Squalo is a smaller eating place. We waited 30 minutes for a table on a Tuesday. It was well worth the wait. There was three of us and we all tried a different pizza. Each one was terrific. They have their own beer too. I had the red and it was excellent. While we waited for pizzas, I watched... More
