Beautiful scenery, delicious food

The best part of Tric Trac is by far the ability to sit outside and dine al fresco with a view of the Duomo. I enjoyed the food, too. Do be prepared to be here for a long time - nothing happens particularly quickly. I went here twice this last week - once with just me and my fiance, another... read more

Location location location so says travelers and also real estate agents. In this case it is utterly true. But ask yourself just how popular Tric Trac would be if it were say,too expensive or run by jerks. Neither is true and this justlt well-regarded bar puts one in a position to enjoy the golden hour late afternoon in Spoleto like... More

My wife and I ate a very pleasant lunch here on our day visit to Spoleto. The food and wine were excellent, we sat and soaked up the the tranquil atmosphere of one of the most beautiful Romanesque churches in Italy, we had the Piazza almost all to ourselves, whilst a thunder storm raged nearby.

We been invited to this restaurant for dinner to start to celebrate a wedding week end in Spoleto. The location is excellent, the food was served part buffet style (starters, charcuterie, cheeses), pasta and risotto was served at the tables. Good quality and both pasta and risotto where perfectly cooked, we couldn't manage to try the dessert buffet because we... More

The decoration is really nice and the service was friendly. We were expecting the higher prices given Tric Trac is in front of the duomo in Spoleto and the place is very touristic. But at least you expect that a 14.50 euro tuna salad will have more than 1/4 (if at all) of a small tuna-fish-can in it... The panini... More

I don't really write reviews, but this experience warrants a review. I am currently sitting at tric Trac waiting to pay and still very hungry because my food never came. We waited for 30 minutes before they were willing to take our order. Another 30 minutes later an over dressed limp insalata mista was served. Five minutes later two of... More

Guiseppe and his team provided the most elegant and delicious buffet lunch to toast and greet our son and daughter in law after their wedding in the Palazzo Communale! Faultless! The Norcia ham is the best I have ever tasted, wonderful cheeses, breads, perfect fresh fruits and much more. All exceeded our expectations! Bravi!

Beautiful location which cannot be faulted but high prices - we paid more here than we did in Central Rome. We had 2 coffees, a small water and a coke which cost €10.50. The previous day we'd had 3 coffees, a coke and 4 pastries for €7.50 in Piazza Garibaldi - look at the view for free and then walk... More

Very nice location but nothing else - this place manages to miss the preparation of bruschetta which is kind of an achievement ! Frankly, apart from view, nothing was good there, neither their salads nor bruschetta or local salumeria. Just have a drink to enjoy the venue and go eat elsewhere.

Last Tuesday night we had a wonderful meal here at Tric Trac. The four of us each had something different and each dish wonderful. Located on the beautiful piazza, the location was as lovely as the food. Guiseppe was a gracious host throughout the evening and the food was incredible. The Chitarra with smoked ricotta and eggplant was one of... More
