On looking at my review of last April ,I felt it would be boring to repeat all my paeans to this remarkable ristoratore and his exceptional food. This year, the food was still fresh, locally sourced, imaginatively presented with the old favourites and a few new ones. One difference was that we were greeted , not as clienti , returning after... My date and I had an excellent meal in the outdoor seating area of Tempio del Gusto. It's a nice, quiet area in a small piazza close to Piazza del Mercato. The food here was excellent, although frankly all the food in Spoleto seems to be excellent. The main thing that sets this place apart seems to be the relatively... More

We lucked into finding this restaurant for lunch in Spoleto. The chef was passing by the door and made sure we were seated. We ate outside. The food is to die for. Easily the culinary high point of this trip and one of the best ever. We had the fish menu-- prix fixe at 35 E and worth every cent!... More

Eight years ago we took our teenage children to Spoleto for a 4 day cooking school. At Tempio del Gusto. They are now in their twenties, on their own and use several techniques that Eros taught us. We had the opportunity to visit Spoleto for one night and of course spent dinner with Manuela and Eros. Three of us ordered... More

We leave Spoleto tomorrow having had the best food and service over the past six weeks of travelling through Southern France and much of Italy. The food was excellent with many surprises and such a high quality. I would not recommend leaving Spoleto without visiting Tempio Del Gusto! Well done.

Our best meal in Italy this time. Unique atmosphere, low lights, rustic but charming. We tried a plate with many carpacios varieties (new flavour mix for us) which was great... But nothing compared with the tagliatele with foie gras and truffles on top. The chef came to the table to finish the plate with a nero truffle... Smells and taste... More

We were recommended this place for lunch by our hotel in Spoleto. On arrival we noted a Michelin sign on the window and wondered if the place would come up to this standard. It certainly did with excellent service,an extensive wine list both Italian and International. The menu was extensive but a little complicated for non Italians, but the cooking... More

As I was a guest of a very important lady of Spoleto I was given the royal treatment but the meal was exquisite. Very whimsical take on several courses but done in a very classy manner. From the amuse buche of three lovely bites to the veal tortellini, to the stuffed guinea hen, to the burrata cream topped truffles ,... More

We stayed for eight days in Spoleto in April 2014. During our stay we visisted some of what are supposed to be the best restaurants in town. Among these "Tempio del Gusto" was without a doubt the best, The kitchen is of high quality, as are the servants. It is also one of the more pricy restaurants in town, but... More

We went out of our way to meet a friend in Spoleto and on a whim chose to eat at Tempio del Gusto. They were fully booked but promised us a table at 9pm if we were prepared to wait. Wait we did and we were not disappointed. Best meal we've had in the last 3 weeks in Italy with... More
