Unique atmosphere and menu

This was our first visit to R3 and we loved it. The menu was very creative, the preparation was excellent, and the portions were generous. Because it's also a bakery, you can even buy pastry for breakfast the next morning!

The staff at Rays were so welcoming; I arrived early but waiting for my friends led to good conversation with receptive women. Our lunch was presented well and very nutritions; just the right amount. Bakery goodies to take home made a special treat!

I may be biased here because my boyfriend is part of the owners family, but it is some seriously good food. The organic rosemary burger is amazing, crab cakes with spicy sauce fantastic and their dessert menu, oh my. Also, if you want to rock out on a Friday/Saturday night they bring in some really great bands, it gets pretty... More

My wife and I were having a spa day and we were referred to Rays. Our first suprise was being asked if we had a reservation. My thought was, this isn't Toronto or Oakville and it wasn't Friday or Saturday; this was Alton, ON! I realized very quickly that this might be a good place as within fifteen minutes the... More

Ray's is always reliably delicious! I have had many meals at Ray's during the last 6 years or so, and have never been disappointed. The food is always prepared with the freshest ingredients, often in season and local. But in my opinion, what makes Ray's so fantastic, is the warm, friendly ambiance. As soon as you step into the bistro,... More

We stayed at the Mill Croft Inn and wanted to eat elsewhere. We were heading into Orangeville and passed this Bistro. We checked Trip Advisor and it was rated high so we turned around. This place is awesome. Food is fresh and home made. They had a guitar player as well. They have their menu on a large chalk board... More

We took my brother and his wife for dinner and it was also one of the places for the Jazz and Blues festival. All of the food was amazing...fresh and tasty and well presented. I've had lunch here several times and have had similar delicious meals then as well. The music was great and the atmosphere fun. Our waitress seemed... More

Stopped in with my mother for a quick lunch. The service was fabulous. The server really knew her product well! Plenty of great selections to choose from in a small, quaint location. The place itself is nothing fancy on the inside, but the food is stellar. We both had a soup and shared the escargot and crab cakes. Great flavor... More
