Good location, service and quality of ingredients. We were left absolutely stuffed by our anti-pasti and secondi and felt some of the richness of the dishes would have benefitted from a little more 'lift' and balance. Very pleasant couple of hours however followed by a long walk up the coast

We arrived in the area so tired from our long trip---we had no idea where to eat but decided it had to be in walking distance! What a gem!!!! The owner met us at the door with the most hospitable , happy welcome!!! We had wine and chose to all have different meals so that we could share--there were 6... More

We found the food, service and hospitality unequaled on our visit. Excellent value and recommend this as a must to anyone visiting Sorrento. Well worth the effort to find this little gem. Alan & Mary............Thanks for a great experience p.s The wild boar and mash is superb at 9 euros I felt like a thief

The food here was lovely and the manager was great. The main issue was the waiter who seemed not to have a clue. The decor is a bit odd and when we went it was very empty which meant it didn't have much atmosphere!

Some of the best food we have tasted in the Sorrento area. Brought here by shuttle bus from the Hotel Prestige. Disappointing decor but fabulous Parma Ham starter and the Tuna was excellent.

Had a couple of meal here while staying in Colli Di Fontanelle. Always very good and excellent hospitality. Our girls were captivated by the fish. The wine list is extensive and excellent. Definitely recommended. The Il Rifugio pizza is great and large to boot. Made a great meal the following day.

We went twice to this restaurant and twice to Il Panorama. Both welcoming but Rifugio was more homely. The owner was very friendly and helpful as was in Panorama although I thought the Panorama to be a little bit "minimalist" and sparse.

We were here with family and friends and enjoyed really great food, especially the antipasti. The list is not the usual one, the service is excellent and the setting was very warm and inviting. Very well done ! And by the way the cost was very reasonable, less than 30 euro each

Food was terrific and service was outstanding! Needing a break from the winding roads we stopped here on a whim and enjoyed ourselves greatly. The hospitality was warm and the food was just what we needed. The owner took great care of us and even recommended the first wine I honestly can say I enjoyed. Our host was very welcoming... More
