The Real Deal

Just go here. It's out of the way if you're staying in town. It was just down the road from us (Hotel Prestige) staying above town. Either way, I can't say enough good about this place or recommend it more strongly. This is as mom and pop as it gets. It's all about the food and wine. Mr... read more

This was the restaurant suggested by our nearby hotel (which now in fact has its own restaurant and so is not reliant on outside venues) and which still operates a shuttle bus to take its guests here. Fantastic setting being, as the name implies, on the top of a hill with a panoramic view. That said it is probably a... More

Coming from NJ, we have a lot of great Italian restaurants. This was, without a doubt, one of the best meals I've had. We both had great appetizers and huge dinners, home made wine €60... A third of a meal half as good as home. Going back on Friday. I have loved being up in the hills above Sorrento. It... More

A little out of the way but well worth the visit for both the views and the food. A lovely family run establishment with friendly service and good home cooked food. We had great homemade pasta as starters and fish and beef as mains all great quality. You really must try the 'homemade' wine which comes from the restaurants own... More

My husband and I had lunch here while on a day tour of Amslfi and Positano. The food was amazing. The owner of the restaurant served us, and he couldn't have been nicer. I believe that he grows much of the produce.

Food was wonderful - seafood risotto for me and steak with mushroom sauce for my husband. We both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, killing time before our trip home we couldn't think of a more Italian way to finish our trip. We were staying locally so knew about the restaurant from previous visits, pity we couldn't find time to visit more... More

It is so easy to miss this little family owned gem of a restaurant while driving from Sorrento to Positano. But, if you just drop by and see the stunning view (morning and during night) and peaceful setting, it will be hard for you to not to take a table, and then when you eat the food and enjoy their... A golden nugget tucked away from the centre but well worth a visit. The setting may appear either as rustic or non pretentious depending on your view point but don't be fooled as the food was delightfull, full of flavour and of a quality you would expect from a celebrated TV chef. Needless to say but awesome views of Saint... More

We dined here two nights in a row, and both times the service and food were excellent (pizza, pasta, steaks, and fish - good wine selection, too!). A beautiful view is a spectacular bonus. Reasonable prices cherry on the top. Highly recommended!

Spectacular view. Outstanding home cooked cuisine courtesy of the owner Luciano and members of his family. My husband and I shared a variety of courses,an experience we truly enjoyed.
