Vasco and his family have created a magical experience. Our 13-member family party was staying in the area, and our hosts highly recommended Vasco's for a traditional Sunday dinner. The experience was unparalleled: being served a five-course Italian dinner from three generations of family, all homecooked, fresh, and incredibly delectable. The food and conversation flowed as easily as the wine... More

This was my best vacation ever and this restaurant is fantastic. The owner and his wife were very hands on. The food excellent. No menu but the food was the best and plenty of it. Good local wines and the little bar downstairs was great.

This is a little gem, hidden in the hills outside Sansepolcro. I loved the warm family welcome from the owner, who looks a little like Paul Newman!! Lunch is very traditional and the courses seem to keep coming, lots of crostini, pasta and wine! I would definitively go there again.

This is a wonderful gem of a restaurant, run by a local family who are warm, welcoming and friendly. Service is great and the food is delicious - you just go with the flow and course after course keeps arriving at your table!! A great experience and I am definitely going again this year.

Very rustic and traditional Osteria up the little Montagna village, great simple food, very tasty and lovely family staff! They accommodated our needs and prepared a full meal without meat! The grappa's at the end of the meal are a must!

One of THE places near Sansepolcro to take that all important Sunday lunch. Everything is home made, including the obligatory grappa you have to drink before leaving. Vasco does all the cooking and serves you as well from cooking dishes straight from the oven. Nothing pretentious here, just really good food and plenty of it.

Our groups first night in Tuscany, and this was what every other meal was compared to. The courses kept coming, and the wine kept flowing and all for a very reasonable price. We had a bruschetta that I will never forget, it was a mayonnaise based creamy piece of heaven and out of this world. I can never had anything... More

We had a large group with varied ages that all had wonderful evening at this beautiful location. The food was great and I lost count of all the courses! An unmissable experience and non-Italian speakers shouldn't hesitate. Reservations suggested.

We had a large group of 13 in Sansepolcro for a wedding. We shared an upstairs room with another table of four. Vasco and his daughter, Barbara, served us one amazing course after another. They were able to accommodate all our dietary needs, vegan, vegetarian and carnivore. The wine was plentiful and the evening finished with dessert and a selection... More

Amazing food, service and exceptional grappas makes this a must when in Montagna. My husband and I both enjoyed their wonderful hospitality and traditional Tuscan menu- without a doubt you get a lot for your money here. 5 Star food for reasonable prices in a magical setting! The perfect combination of romance and rustic-we will definitely be back to this... More
