The food here is simply excellent. The menu is simple, but every ingredient is simply superb in terms of quality and fresh and simple cooking. The meat dishes are simply excellent. The lukewarm tomato dish was one of the best things we ever ate using tomatoes. Pure simple tomato. The desert were not the usual standard Italian dish. They were... More

Delightful setting under a huge horsechestnut tree on the terrace. Excellent food and helpful joyful waitering. We had a lovely meal there with friends and enjoyed after the generous antipasto, two tasty pasta dishes and a fantastic rib of beef served with the most delicious crispy tasty potatoes. Well worth the short drive from San Sepolcro.

Eating inside or on the terrace this is a spectacular experience. You wont find better food in Tuscany or better value. Friendly service and a bit of English spoken if you need it. We are regular visitors and look forward to our next meal at the Aboca.

Located by where we were staying, we visit Aboca twice. Family owned, the place takes pride in growing their own vegetables and raising their own animals. The food reflects the freshness. We enjoyed every dish we ate and the owners are quite nice.

Very pleasant location, particularly for lunch. Excellent and original food plus a good wine list. Impeccable service. Reasonable prices.

The only downside to eating at Aboca is that nothing will ever match up to it.

Excellent food and ambience, and service with charm (and in English) . It was full on both the days we went, a Monday and a Friday, with locals as it isn't a tourist place, but we didn't have to book. Lovely wine list too. Cost c. £200 for 5 of us, 3+ courses and wine. We loved it!

I was visiting Tuscany with a friend, who's boyfriend is Italian & has lived in this region of Tuscany all of his life. He took us to this restaurant as he knows the chef & owner Massimiliano & knows that the food there is always good. It was hot so we sat out on the terrace, it was a Sunday... More

This beautiful restaurant is 5 min drive away from Sansepolcro. It is the best kept secret in Tuscany. Here you will find only local people that appreciate the high quality of the Tuscan food. The menu changes as the fresh seasonal food changes. Risotto con tartufi and tagliata ( beef) is a must. Any pasta dish is fantastic, but spaghetti... More
