During a cruise in Sanremo we decided to try this restaurant, but it wasn't a good experience..the pizza was poorly cooked, and even the atmosphere wasn't the best, strange people shouting around the square, drug dealers in the surroundings. Not recommended.

Wow. This place is great. Starting with the atmosphere, it is located on a small square in an untouristic very cosy part of town. There was a party inside so we sat outside next to a pourling well with candellights on the table an very rustic simple plastic chairs. Awesome. I should also mention that the waiter is genuinely kind... More

i have eaten in restaurants all over san remo, sometimes eating out twice a day, and the food here is very good. it tends to be fresh, seasonal, light, healthy, and very tasty. urbicia vivas is no exception; it is as good as anywhere in town if you like true ligurian, local food. if you like being on the waterfront,... We went to this restaurant especially because it was located in the heart of the old city center, and recommended on trip advisor. Food was great, especially the risotto with mushrooms and wild berries. Good service and welcoming athmosphere in a small but friendly square. Would definitely go back.

Thanks to directions given by a local musician we eventually found Urbicia Vivas. An unusual setting, a tiny square in the Medieval Old Town. We were delighted with our dining experience. The food was delicious, hot and not typical "pasta or pizza" fare.We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 evening meals and would recommend any holiday maker to visit. Thank you to... More

We visited San Remo in July 2008 and stumbled upon this restaurant during an evening ramble. It looked very cozy, like a neighborhood spot. Don't be fooled by the white plastic chairs (maybe they've upgraded since then) - the food and service are worth of Michelin stars. I didn't expect much but as soon as we tasted the first appetizers,... More

A wonderful eating experience. We eat worldwide and this small old town restaurant has great food. We went for lunch and was not disappointed. A shared linguine seafood starter with fish and rabbit for mains. Top quality with good service. This is not fine dining but really good cooking in a small and well decorated restaurant. The downside is that... More
