We stayed at this lovely spot for two nights on a hiking trip with Backroads. It was my favorite hotel. Spectacular attention to detail. Every time you turned a corner in the lobby you'd find a luxurious sitting area with delectable treats: cookies, chocolates, etc. The rooms themselves were spacious and quiet. Located in a beautiful village.

We dined in The Wine Bar and Grill 3 times during our stay in San Cassiano last week. This was because the village, though absolutely beautiful, is tiny and has limited dining out options in the evening. Each time we dined there it was progressively worse. All due to the service . Waiting staff appalling . Unable to smile or... More

We have been to this restaurant twice this trip. First time was absolutely first class & one of our party thought that the pizza was possibly the best they'd ever had. On the second night we pre-ordered the fondue, which turned out to be A big mistake. The fondue was more like a cheese sauce, nothing like the fondues we... More

We have been eating at the Rosa Alpina every other summer for 12 years. The food and wine are delicious and the atmosphere is terrific. The wait staff is very professional. The owner always remembers us even though we only visit every two years and always greet us warmly. I wouldn't miss having lunch or dinner here. It's always a... More

We actually ate here twice over our short stay, primarily because it has a great light lunch menu for mid-afternoon, where most places are closed. Also their alfresco dining area on the Main Street makes it perfect for people watching. Crisp white tablecloths, wine glasses and flowers in each table make it extremely appealing for drinking very reasonably priced Pinot... More

Arrived on a quiet evening without booking. We were quickly taken to a table at the back of the restaurant right by what we think was part of the kitchen. After not very long it got so hot to the point it started to spoil our experience. Service was good and the food was nice and what we expected but... More

Got ignored at the door for 5-10 mins before leaving. Assume it was due to my wearing shorts in the middle of summer?!

This review covers the "Wine & Grill" in the Rosa Alpina which is the smaller brother (or sister) to the Michelin Star awared "Hubertus" in the same Hotel. We were there twice in a row and delighted both times. Despite the fact that it was the last week of the skiing season and the staff for sure was tired, they... More

Our second visit in five years demonstrated that this wine bar and grill attached to the Hotel Rosa Alpina continues provide wonderful creative food with highy professional service. We selected the Tartare Limousine accompanied by a strawberry lemon puree and an exquistie burrata from Puglia. Also enjoyed was the prosciutto with a mozzarella di bufala from Paestum, the generously plated... More

It was such an excellent dining experience when we decided to try this restaurant. Very lovely and cozy ambiance. The staff was very nice. Their grilled meat is a must try and also their pizza. This restaurant offers the best Italian fresh food in San Cassiano. Overall, their cooking and food were all excellent.
