This is a traditional italian place, where you realize that fresh pasta can taste even better than you imagined. The pasta is made there and it is absolutely delicious. The tiramissu is the best I´ve tried and it is certainly worth tasting! The waiter is one of those characters who choose your food when you get there and, believe me,... More

Being a citizen I've been in the restaurant several times. The food served is without any doubt very good and a must for people who visit the city centre and want to taste the typical kitchen. Being in one of the old roman ways it is in a wonderful location, but as most of the restaurant on the centre it... More

Came in with a business partner who recommended the place as a classic Regianna cuisine. The place is absolutely amazing when it comes to food. It is a simple and straight forward restaurant BUT the food is absolutely fantastic. Don't expect luxury - this is not what this restaurant is about! It is about excellent local food, served in a... The place is staffed by old-style ultra-professional waiters who swiftly and effortlessly cope with a busy and popular restaurant. Food was first-rate. The meat trolley with boiled and roasted meats looked and was excellent. Served with the traditional mash and side bowls of tasty and spicy condiments.Other dishes were also good and punters came expecting to eat well and ceratinly... More

The restraunt was recommended by AlbergoMorandi (reviewed separately) as typical of the region. We arrived early before preparations were complete. We were made welcome. We ordered from the meat trolley, an over whelming selection and quantity. Because of our poor language skills we sampled meats not knowing what they were! (Some still unknown!!) An unforgetable and wonderful experience. The staff,... More

Trolleys with multiple choices of meats - one for roasted meats and one for boiled meats - are one of the features of traditional (read: 1950-1970s) central Italian cuisine. A restaurant's quality used to be gauged by how good they were at extremely simple preparations such as roasts and bolliti (boiled meats). Three ways to goodness and greatness: 1. quality... More

I ate here twice recently and really enjoyed it. It was not what I would have chosen initially but, the meals were both delicious. The main course is from the meat trolley and I have no idea what some of the sausages might be but the roast meats are easy to recognize. There were lots of local customers which is... More

This is a great traditional RE restaurant run by a bunch of middle aged waiters who are helpful if brusque at times. It is easy to overdose on meat here. But the pumpkin tortellini are wonderful, as is anything with funghi. We made the mistake of looking at the dessert trolly and consequently that pushed the richness dial to 11.... More

their specialty of boiled meats was very good and interseting for meat lovers and people who are not afraid of getting something other than a steak. not cheap, but affordable. like alot of itlalian eateries dinner is not served before 19:30 although we were sitted at seven, so we waited patiently.

Not a ristorante that I would return to! The owner (?) took us to a table and almost begrudingly provided us with a menu. About 10 minutes later the waiter appeared and seemed disappointed that we did not choose the "boiled meats" for dinner. We also noticed that everyone in the ristorante appeared to be Italian and seemed to be... More
