Did not have long in Ravello and wanted to enjoy a quick drink and snack on the square. Sadly the service and the pizza here were sadly lacking. Food was served and the waiter promised to return with cutlery and napkins - we did not see him again and couldn't attract the attention of any other waiting staff as they... More

Ordered two coffees, one Americano one latte, both arrived cool, the latte was a tiny expresso and a jug of cold milk, and this in the main square of Ravello at exorbitant prices. We went 5 minutes walk to Si Sinas at Piazza Fontana where there was a lovely fountain, they appreciated the custom and the prices were a fraction... More

Stopped in after walking around Ravello having had dinner at Salvatore's which was fantastic! Walked dinner off & hubby wanted gelato as we are obsessed with Italian gelato-it's not the same in the states. He said his amerena (cherry) was fine, my cioccollato was really AWFUL! You could taste the fake powdery mix. No pride in what they're serving the... More

Gelato was good but our morning breakfast was not so good. We got a muffin that was stale and flavorless. The day before we had a nice donut. Mixed.

This cafe is just off the main plaza at the Duomo in Ravello - but OH what a good idea to take your coffee break here - they have the most beautiful selection of pastries and the lighest doughnut I have ever eaten in my life - A real family affair with grandparents, parents, children and granschildren all involved in... This little hidden garden just a few steps above the main piazza was a great spot for lunch. The food (paninis, salads, pastas) was great and the setting was lovely. Nothing fancy, but very beautiful and quiet.

Bitterly disappointed by a cafe in the heart of the square. Let's start with the positives, the wine was reasonably priced and the waiter friendly and efficient. That's unfortunately about all I can say about it from a positive respect. We had a couple of melts which were ridiculously salty and just plain stodge on a plate. The snacks serviced... More

We sat here in the piazza part and ordered a fruit ice-cream. The ice-cream was delicious! Can recommend it. We could watch a wedding entry on the square, it was very nice to sit there on the square and enjoy the views and atmosphere.

Caffe Calce has a garden area ten metres behind the main caffe on the piazza. Look for it and you will have found where we had a fantastic lunch. Simple country fare that really hit the spot. Procuitto Ham with pear and the creamiest best tasting ricotta ever drizzled with local honey. Together with a salad of grilled vegetables with... More

We stumbled upon this place during a stop off on our exhilarating drive along the Amalfi coast. (We were lucky enough to find a parking space at lunch time.) We didn't notice the restaurant in the square but but were drawn in by the wonderful garden, cool and calm. We had a panini and a couple of plates of food... More
