We made reservations at Il Flauto di Pan because we heard about the combination of breathtaking gardens and stunning food. It exceeded our expectations on both! The Villa Cimbrone is a beautiful setting overlooking the Amalfi Coast from more than 1000 feet up the cliffs. My husband & I were staying in Positano and our travel agent booked dinner reservations at this restaurant for us. Looking back we should have planned our day better. To get from Positano you have to take a ferry (30 minutes) to Amalfi, then a very windy bus ride to Ravello. You are dropped off in the main square to... More

What a gorgeous restaurant in a spectacular place. The food, the wine, the service were all exceptional. My husband and I have eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants - the ambience, charm, sophistication, first class standards made this experience truly special. You must try this restaurant if you are in the Amalfi.

The restaurant is beautifully managed. The diner experience starts from the time you enter the building. The bartender/Maître d greets you and is super friendly and engaging. All the staff are very professional. We each had the tasting menu, one for meat and the other seafood. Every taste was innovative, yet simple and so very delicious. a very romantic meal... More

We had a lovely meal as we have had in the past. This is a beautiful setting with a professional and friendly staff. Excellent food prepared creatively! Try the parmigiana to see what I mean!

While we were staying at Palazzo Avino for our holiday this month we asked our hotel to book us a table at Villa Cimbrone's restaurant. We were lucky enough to get a table for the evening of my husband's birthday. What a lovely cosy terrace they have. The evening was very warm, all the tables outside were full and there... More

The restaurant is located in a stunning hotel, on the grounds of a much visited garden, about 12 minutes walking from the center of Ravello. We ate on the terrace. Everything about the evening was memorable. The menu is interesting and tempting, and the dishes we selected did not disappoint. The food is beautifully arranged and served, and perfectly cooked.... We ate here the first night at Ravello. The restaurant is located in Villa Cimbrone, a beautiful view and spectaculars gardens surround you. The service was flawless. We were seated inside at a table surrounded by windows so we could enjoy the magnificent view. Diego took care of us, we were four, and was very attentive and helpful with suggestions... More

I have to draw a comparison between Il Flauto di Pan and Rossellini's because they are both sharing the Michelin star podium in Ravello. Both cost about the same (about 350 Euros for a taster meal for two with wine), both have incredible views and both are part of a hotel. There is no doubt that the chef can cook... More

Ate here on the first night of arriving at the hotel. The views from the terrace tables are superb. I went for the fish taster menu, which by the end felt like I'd been down to the sea and back - the tuna with dried raspberries was especially great. Good local wine recommendation, nice palate cleansers and truly amazing box... More
