We visited Ravello to see the gardens. During our visit the weather turned bad and we stumbled on this place to get a bite and get out of the rain. What an amazing find! There is an enclosed portion of the patio which we enjoyed the beautiful view from. We had a wonderful meal. We had the lasagna, a calzone,... More

On our honeymoon, my wife and I have eaten at some lovely places in and around Ravello, but the highlight for us was eating at La Vecchia Cantina. The service was second to none and the food was exquisite. We highly recommend it to other couple and families. (It also has free parking and the staff doubled up as great... More

We got married last year in Ravello in September . We travelled out there in July to organise the last minute arrangements. At that time we happened upon the restaurant of Salvatore Dipalma (la vecchia cantina), just off the lovely square of ravello. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much we that we asked if he could host our eve of... More

During our 3rd trip to Ravello, we found our favorite restaurant got even better! The menu was updated & mouthwatering. The seafood canelloni-a new addition- is absolutely delicious and a must try. Even the dining room was more beautiful - thanks to some new ceramic pieces from the gorgeous shop next door, Ceramiche Cosmolena. The pizzas and homemade pasta continued... More

If you find your way to Ravello on the Amalfi Coast, you must find your way to La Vecchia Cantina. Only about 50 yards beyond the main public square (where all the tour groups and tourist restaurants are) to the right and adjacent to the local ceramic factory/retail shop, is a wonderful restaurant with maybe the best pizza we ever... We dined here 3 times, and all I can say is you must eat here! The Piza is amazing and the pasta is excellent. The manager and his staff are very friendly. Importantly the locals also eat here. Don't be put off by empty tables if you eat early, go in and order you won't be disappointed.

We ate here 5 of the 6 nights we stayed in Ravello. We tried new things every night. Everything that was served to us was outstanding! I can highly recommend the pizzas, seafood pastas, steaks and the lemon cake. The owner Salvatorre is a fantastic guy!! He took such good care of us! Take his advice on the local Ravello... More

Mediocre food and service. Tasted like canned pasta. View was great. Manager was fairly rude, while waiter was polite.

We stumbled on this excellent place when looking for some dinner. It was packed and we got the last table. Arguably the best pizza I have ever tasted. Wine list has great variety and is good value.
