Went for lunch. Sat outside on the terrace with excellent views across the hillside and down towards Minori. Pasta dishes delicious and good attentive service

We had lunch here and just sat for hours in awe at the view. The risotto was the best meal that I had in my 2 weeks in Italy and reasonably priced. A member of our party found this gem on Trip Advisor and we followed her directions down a long ivy pathway to one of the most spectacular views... More

My husband and I had just finished visiting Villa Cimbrone (very worthwhile) and needed a bit of lunch. We saw a menu and a small winding path beckoning to us. We met a couple on the way out who said it was wonderful so we followed the small path, down the stairs and came out to this small hotel restaurant.... More

We visited Villa Amore Ristorante as part of our trip to Villa Cimbrone Gardens. The view was absolutely spectacular and the food was delicious. Our waiter made the visit even more enjoyable as he was very warm, engaging and humorous while being tremendously efficient. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors outstanding. We both had locally caught seafood.

This place is such a treat... Love the food - their special pasta is awesome but everything else I've tried is excellent too. Service is very friendly, personable, quite raw in a lovely way. I am Italian so I really don't mind the owners being funny and sometimes entertaining customers and Villa Amore's staff is so gentle and accommodating!!! The... More

The view is amazing! The food was outstanding! It was a perfect lunch for our perfect day in Ravello. We sat in the covered terrace overlooking the sea with Minori in the distance. Our fish lunch paired with a local white wine was exquisite! We loved Ravello and this was the cherry on top!

Recommended by my Hotel this restaurant was tricky to find. But what a find. The sun was out and it offered an amazing view over the bay. I had ravioli made with fresh past followed by sea bream. The fish had been caught locally that morning and had been steamed in lemon and orange, very appropriate as we were surrounded... More

The view from our table was over the sea to the night lights of Salerno. The cook came out and showed us the fish, Petzzongna, which was caught that day. A white deep water fish. Cooked just right, flaky, light and sweet. Good wine list.

Now I have to be honest, the view is good. However, the service was hopeless, we waited 35 minutes between courses whilst others were served ahead of us. The food was OK but nothing special. My most amusing moment was when the waiter came to take our order, go half way through then walked off, only to return some minutes... More

Although the service at this restaurant was friendly and the views stunning, I felt the food was very poor for the price. The caprese salad was made with what tasted like very cheap generic mozarella - inexcusable in this region! My "Aqua Pazza" style fish was very bland and watery. We ate towards the end of the lunch service so... More
