We had an absolutely delicious meal and the service was great. The ambience and view is magnificent and the African Grey made our evening.

We were in Ravello for a week and decided to try da Salvatore. We made reservations for 9 adults on a Wednesday night. It was not crowded. We were seated and give 3 menus for the 9 of us, 2 did not have the daily specials sheet. We sat for 40 minutes waiting to order. When a waiter finally deigned... More

We were impressed by the efficient service and, of course, the wonderful view. Our choices met with a mixed result - the spaghetti and clams merit a detour but the duck was a disappointing choice lacking flavor as it was overcooked; the same for the dessert with a pleasant nougat based cake but a dry chocolate one.

We decided to go here on our last night after hearing excellent reviews from our neighbours. We expected great things but left bitterly disappointed. It's one of the first restaurants that you come to opposite the bus stop. We had booked a terrace table and the views would have been amazing if it wasn't for the big door blocking our... More

Unless you want pizza, Ravello is slightly lacking in good restaurants that aren't purely aimed at tourists. Which is why we were so pleased with our experience here! Initially slightly difficult to find as it's tucked down some stairs in the opposite direction to the main town (if you get the bus to Ravello go slightly back down the road... More

Gorgeous view.... Excellent service....Beautiful delicious food! Was recommended to us by a local in Praiano where we stayed. Getting off the bus in Ravello, there it was right by the bus stop. The food was truly beautiful and creative with the tastes off the charts. The wine list was very good and reasonable. I wish I could tell you what... More

Recommended by our hotel as a less touristy place, and rightfully so. Inventive dishes (Tuna Carbonara?) served with panache. We arrived early, but were still invited in for a drink and aperitivo. Very kind and helpful wait staff. After the meal we were invited into the kitchen and my wife got a kiss from the chef. Hey, wait a minute...

The meal was amazing and so was the view down to the ocean. It would be a great setting for any occasion in this restaurant. Great staff who were all extremely helpful. Ravello is an expensive place (though worth it) but the prices was reasonable. I just wish it was closer to visit again soon!

We ate here on our last night in Ravello as we had been told about the amazing view. The food was easily the best we had in our whole 10 days in Italy. On arrival, we had an amuse bouche which was some fish and spaghetti, it was lovely. I had a starter of mozarella and parma ham - yes,... More
