Two Lovely Lunches

with a stunning view and excellent service. A handsome restaurant, quite elegant, hanging over the blues of sea and sky. On our tour of the Amalfi Coast with Monetti Taxi Service, our driver and tour guide Raffaelle recommended this restaurant. The view is amazing and breathtaking beautiful. The cuisine is delicious and the service was excellent. I had their specialty dish which is a seafood dish made with 3-4 different pasta noodles. The tour of the Amalfi Coast is unforgettable... A lunch for two at Salvatore is a fine thing. The view from the room -- overlooking the sprawling sea -- is matched only by the quality of the food, which is much more ambitious than it has to be. Expect to see foams, "ice creams" and similar ingredients deployed. If you're the kind of person who digs the idea... More

Visited this restaurant by chance when touring the Amalfi coastline and looking for somewhere to break up the journey for lunch. So pleased we did as the food offered was quite exceptional and beautifully presented, along with attentive, friendly & professional service. Highly recommended.

We had a simple lunch of Salvatore Romano Gnocchi and Veal and Aritichoke- both delicious with an artist's presentation. The attendance to detail was only surpassed by the great service. With a glass of wine the total was 42 Euros. The view alone is priceless. If only the parrot could sing Italian Opera.

We had an amazing dinner here, seated at the window looking out at the sea and the surrounding mountain towns! The food was faultless, the tuna tartare with sea urchin ice cream, and Parmesan dust was a highlight, and will not be forgotten.. Service was attentive yet not intrusive- this restaurant is a must for foodies, chefs and anyone that... More

We arrived around noon and the restaurant was empty. There was a man working, so in my worst Italian, I asked if they were open for lunch. He welcomed us in, offered us the best table, and proceeded to fill us with wonderful food and wine. The restaurant began to fill as we dined and everyone's food looked delicious and... More

I have visited Salvatore twice now, once for a group, pre-wedding dinner and once by myself. Both visits have been tremendous. Location and views are unbeatable, the service was warm and attentive without being suffocating. Wine and food menu choices were great. Quality of the food is unforgettable, presentation, flavour pairings and techniques in particular were really excellent. This is... More

We were 4 for dinner, and we tried and shared different starters and main dishes. Some of the dishes were outstanding, some were good, very few were so so. The service was exceptional. Very professional, attentive and friendly. Bottom line: A good place.

I have one thing to say. This is the best pizza I ever eat. Also the best kapreza. It was so so so good. Thank you for the best restaurant in Italy
