Cumpà Cosimo was about the only place open during my recent visit to Ravello. I was caught in the middle of a hurricane force winter storm and it was absolutely freezing! Just come back from a week in Ravello, we went to Cumpa Cosimo because the reviews were quite good but mainly because in March we didn't have a lot of choice, everything seems to open in April. The food was below average, the service was weird, the young waiter sprinkled so much chilli powder in our friend's vegetable soup that... More

In all honesty, despite the fact the food we had was of poor quality and the service somehow unusual, we had a fun evening. A few tables were occupied by tourists and then an Italian couple turned up. He looked at all of us and started laughing. I could understand why. He later apologized for what he called his insolence.... More

What a great family Trattoria this is! Such wonderful staff, we were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. I explained I was vegetarian and our lovely waiter said he would bring us a selection of dishes to try. We had a fabulous antipasti and then a selection of different mini pasta dishes - all were perfectly... More

This restaurant is packed every night with Momma in attendance doing her thing. She is quite the character and the food is great. Fun atmosphere and great limoncello

Cumpa' Cosimo serves hearty italian food with great friendly service, we went for lunch and it was very busy. My husband and I shared a seafood plate for entree which was amazing the we followed up with a plate of fresh variety of homemade pasta which were all delicious. Would highly recommend this family run trattoria for the food and... More

Great family restaurant! They were very friendly all the time which make it easy to give them 5 stars for service. The menu was basic, as you expect from a family trattoria, but with a very good choice of food. We both ordered pasta, which were perfectly cooked!! Al dente pasta, as I was expecting. Overall, an excellent food with... More

Every time we visit Ravello, we go and visit Netta at Cumpa Cosimo. She is so lovely and puts her heart and soul into every bite you are served. This excellent niche in Ravello is not to be missed. We will travel to Ravello just to enjoy Netta's delights at Cumpa Cosimo!

A short walk down a side-street from the main piazza, this restaurant has been going for over 80 years. This family bustles among the diners, taking orders, while the kitchen offers herty and wholesome local cuisine, specialising in home-made pasta. They dont hold back on the oil or condiments, so if you are dieting go back to Oragon. There is... More
