After a few hours exploring the wonders of Ravello our driver suggested this restaurant for lunch and we were wary but he insisted it would be great and excellent value and it was. Fairly dark and tucked into a side street but the food made up for everything. Our party of 5 enjoyed their meal immensely and I had a... More

Well...the restaurant is not so "bad". First of all you have to pay attention to the menú: every dish written with a little star means that is not fresh, frozen. But it's written, it's pretty honest. Don't order fish, it's expensive and nothing special. I suggest coniglio and agnello. Avoid alici marinate and homemade wine, it's like water....and it's true... More

Trading on past fame from lonely planet ? some of our meals were ok, but the main course came with nothing on the side, the steak was tough and too rare, and we were endlessly served up stuff not ordered to try. When it was time to pay we were just told a figure that bore no resemblance to what... More

We went there after reading the reviews from Lonely Planet. Best restaurant and such... First of all, the food is average, good fried zucchinis as starters and thats it. most of the dishes are over salty, my mussels were pretty bad, too salty. The pasta mixed was plain bad. A table next door also returned their dishes because it was... More

A charming place in the center of Ravello. Only a 20 minute drive from Amalfi. Amazing food! Very tasty, fresh and well prepaid with the best Amalfi coast traditions. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. We don't normally stay long in restaurants but at Cumpa Cosimo we found ourselves not wanting to leave and kept on ordering more food. My... More

it was delicious, gave a feel of abit of home cook. the seafood was fresh! the pizza was good. That s a woman in charge in the restaurant , i think she must be the owner. it looked like a family run restaurant. the tiramisu tasted exactly like the homemade. Everything was good, prices was reasonable! Do ask for wine... More

Wished we'd found this place on our first rather than our last night! Fantastic home made pasta - the starter of 5 different pastas was delicious, as were all our main courses. Granny was lovely and kept feeding our two teenager boys extra (free) dishes as she thought they needed building up! All the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!

Beware of shady charges!!! We stupidly entered this restaurant without reading reviews because it was busy--I should have noticed that it was only busy with tourists. The "mamma" came by our table too. She's awfully cute at first and also gave us free tiramisu that we insisted profusely against and wouldn't have eaten because it was a sad looking slice of... More

Dropped in here for lunch as we were driving the Amalfi Coast. From the minute we entered we felt welcome. The mother came out to our table after the waiter took our order to talk to us for a few minutes. The son came by after the meal to ask us how it was. Very friendly and caring! The food... More

This was just great! Not appealing at first as decor slightly needs some TLC but wonderful wonderful host whose parents started the restaurant 85 years ago! Went with Italian friends who said it was the best Raviolli they had eaten! Great family service with owners that really care. Delicious food and brilliantly authentic. Best mozzarella ever and delicious pizza bread... More
