Unpretentious and Delicious

My husband and I came here as a way to cleanse our palate from an overpriced 5-star restaurant from the night before and we were not at all disappointed. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere with local food and lots of it, this is the only place in Ravello. The waiters were prompt and... read more

I was just reminded of this place, which in fairness we visited two years ago. It was a unique and wonderful experience. The owner was so warm and welcoming, and took over all ordering! We ate there three times in a week and were VERY VERY happy every time!

Tourists beware! The matriarch of this restaurant is deadly. She works the room and when you ask for the bill there is no paperwork. A figure is plucked out of the air and is more than you thought it would be. The food is nice but when you see tour guides bring in groups then you worry. Give this a... More

My wife and I came here on the last night our stay in Ravello, looking for a tasty Lasagna. And boy did we find it! This restaurant is your quintessential hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant and it makes ridiculously good food. Lasagna wasn't even on the menu, but they had no problem throwing something together for my wife, who had a strong... More

Since we arrived we have a grest night with a Vinosia Neromora Aglianico 2013 and the special dishes Danilo prepared for us. The dessert a wonderful Tiramissu and Coffe. Will recommend to Family and friends.

We ate here on our last night after walking past dozens of times. Don't make our mistake go early and return to enjoy the hustle and bustle, not to mention the tasty food. The same family has run this place for 86 years and it will go on for a long time yet

Had heard many good reviews about this place. Started with a yum salad and crispolini. I had lasagna for dinner (not as good as my dads but very authentic), my friend had bolognese pasta which she loved and my mum had the veal in lemon sauce which was incredible (we all tried it). We had a bottle of white (25... More

Prices were high and food was poor to mediocre. Pizza was best. Calamari was rubbery. The sea bass" (not) fish of the day at £25 was flavourless and way overcooked and when told vegetables were an option as a side, arrived with a few thin slices of potato also overcooked, and no vegetables at all. The front room is homey... More

We visited this restaurant based on recommendations from a friend and from travel sites. The food was delicious, but more importantly, we were made to feel like family! They want everyone to have a great meal, so they will discuss the options with you first and even give you a sample of some things. Pasta sampler was amazing along with... More

Looking for a restaurant in Ravello early evening, we came across this restaurant simply by finding an open door with a welcoming buzz coming from inside. May be the "typically Italian thing" described in many other reviews might be a bit much at home, but here, it made for a really enjoyable experience. Like others, we were offered off-menu items...
