I had seafood pasta which was great. Netta herself greeted us and gave us tiramisu. Delicious !! The restaurant is quite crowded but the service was fast.
My husband and I had an amazing lunch at this little gem. The staff were fabulous, Mamma recommended a range of dishes for us and even brought us a selection which we hadn't ordered after mistaking my husband for an Italian and then being taken aback by his Geordie accent! When we are next in the area we will be... More
A family run restaurant that has consistently great pasta and seafood dishes. A perfect to to have lunch after taking the walk to tour the gardens at villa Cimbrone
We went to Cumpa Cosimo after reading Trip Advisor reviews and it did not disappoint. In fact, we liked it to much that we went for dinner and then again for lunch the next day! The staff was really friendly and helpful-- my husband could not decide if he wanted the lamb or pork chop, so the server made him... More
When our group of 8 began to talk about where to eat lunch, I remembered and found Cumpa Cosimo from an earlier trip. Mama/Netta was as lively, personable and generous as she was on my first visit 6 years ago. Everyone was graciously treated like beloved family members. The food was fantastic and the wine excellent for its moderate price.... More
Stopped in for lunch during a few hours in Ravello - so glad we did. The food was outstanding and the service and atmosphere were terrific - especially the "nonna" taking our orders and serving our food. An excellent choice in a beautiful town.
Cumpa' Cosimo is a delightful restaurant run by an aunt and her nephew, a locals' restaurant with all the fun of being in an authentic spot with delicious foods. The various pastas are all wonderful and the owners are memorable characters. You will come away happy to have found this spot.

Soup was good but too salty. As another reviewer recently remarked, when you ask for your check at Cumpa' Cosimo, you are not... More
Had an amazing welcome from Netta Buttone the matriarch of the establishment. We followed her reccommendations along with a few of our own wishes and we had a fabulous meal with some of the best vegetables I have ever tasted. The atmosphere was very casual and very lively and there was that typically Italian dloce vita in the air! My... More
On our tour of the Amalfi Coast our driver took us to Ravello for lunch at Cumpa' Cosimo. We mentioned about having a great view but followed his recommendation for a great lunch. We were glad that we did. We got the great view after we took a short walk after lunch. Mama Netta greeted us and took our orders.... More
