Ideal last night out in Sicily!

As in all the best restaurants in Sicily the hosts were enthusiastic and friendly. The house wine was good. Smallish first courses available - not always the case. A tradition recipe from the 19th century, tomato and egg and cheese, was worth trying. And the Montalbano sald!

I dont belive that i have to write bad reviews about Sicilian restaurants but unfortunately it was not good experience. Maybe i will start with positive. The house wine was good as i would expect in Sicily. The waitress was pushy what we can order, i was too soft and relied on her suggestions. She served some tomato pasta and... More

Maria presented local Sicilian dishes. Be prepared as the servings are very large and delicious. Nice wine and prices are very modest. I would recomend without hesitation. Large menu selection.

we ate dinner here all 3 nights of our stay in Ragusa. The first night was on the recommendation of Pepe, the owner of our B&B (Bella Guilia--also fabulous). We appreciated the "a la carte" menu, and did not feel pressured to order more food than we wanted. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the salads were lovely. We enjoyed... More

Our hotel (De Stefano Palace) had recommended this place, We did not have reservations, but the owner Maria was very accommodating pushing tables together for us (there were 12 of us). The food was simple but extremely tasteful - in fact of all the meals we had during our 2 1/2 week trip to Italy and Sicily this was the... More

Eight of us found ourselves walking around Ragusa on Saturday night without restaurant reservations. Unable to find any place near the St. John the Baptist Cathedral that could seat us, a friendly waiter directed us down the street to Regia Osteria. The owner was happy to accommodate us and pushed several tables together in a corner. Many of us were... More

We could not find our first choice, but were directed here by some locals. This is a family run, simple fare bistro, not a fancy dinner out for your anniversary. After climbing all over Ilba we were thankful for a carafe of wine, good al dante pasta and pleasant service. Find yourself in our frame of mind and you too... More

This restaurant had many Italian diners and offered a range of local dishes at good prices. The house wine Nero d'Avola was very good and the Pasta alla Norma exceptional. Only criticism was 2nd course coming too fast after the first.

We spent 4 days in Ragusa and ate here twice- the first time by accident as it was 11pm, we were hungry and it was the first place we saw. The second time just to check that we weren't wrong about it being so good! We have both travelled widely in Italy and Sicily and like to think we know... More

My wife and I chanced upon this wonderful little restaurant as we walked home to our hotel and boy were we pleased we tried it. The food was excellent and from the start I knew that it would be good as there were bottles of olive oil and balsamic on the table. The owners were lovely and the simple pasta... More
