We had a nice meal here. Restaurant was very quiet. Service was helpful and friendly. Food was fine, quite a big menu and I think most pre cooked. However it was hot and filling and we enjoyed it.

under a bright red vaulted ceiling with gentlemen waiters and a quiet atmosphere the ambience is relaxed and the food is attractive and good. recommended to many travellers by the local taxi drivers so if you want a less touristy destination perhaps look elsewhere

The atmosphere was good, despite few visitors on a Monday evening at the very end of March. The waiter was helpful, pointing out for us the local specialities in the coloured illustrated menu. We enjoyed the aubergine and cheese tart starter, as well as the beef and veal mains. They represented filling, home style cooking. The overall cost was good... More

Enjoyed this great little ristorante tucked along a side street in historic Ragusa - just a block away from the main touristic pedestrian-only street. We had tasty appetizers, soup, and main pasta course. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. They are open for lunch and then again later in the evening for dinner (7:30pm). The atmosphere is... More

I love Orfeo and GIAN PAOLO the owner...his bizarre fire hydrant modern interior is just the opposite one would expect in this city, a shrine to the Baroque....I just did this menu for a group of 30...puree of fava beans,,,,millefoglie di mozzarella and pomodoro...ROCKING ANTIPASTI !!! STICK WITH GNOCCHI DI PISTACHIO for the primo, it truly was the best I... More

Great restaurant with good food and friendly atmosphere. We wanted to stay in Ragusa Superior one night of our stay and this was recommended by the Rough Guide. We had a very relaxed meal, good traditional Sicilian food and very good service.

We went to Ragusa Ibla for dinner most nights we were there, but this place has better food than all the others in Ibla. My husband thought the pasta with swordfish that he got at Orfeos was the best dish in our ten days in Sicily. The restaurant is located in the new town and the decor is modern. The... More

I was staying at the Ragusa Inn and looking for somewhere local-Orfeo was a good choice basic but reasonable. Their Spaghetti a la Norma was great and I went back for a veal dish which was reasonably priced and very tasty= would recommend

Everyone goes down to Ragusa Ibla for dinner but this is a great place if you don't want to have to walk all the way back up the hill or pay for a taxi. The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. Modern decor. They were offering a curry night on Fridays which would have been fascinating as... More
