Nice surprise

Just around the corner of the Duomo, this Osteria mentioned by SlowFood. Not expensive, good choice of wines and food from inland - sea. Really loved it!

On my last visit to Sicily I was deeply disappointed to find this restaurant closed as it had been recommended to me by a good friend! This time were here together and made our way back to Ragusa Ibla hoping for better luck - and what luck we had. We pooped in for lunch on a beautiful summer afternoon and... More

A different and interesting menu - the food was fantastic, ditto the wine. The venue is lovely as well - we sat outside and watched the world go by.

Second visit. Everything cooked to perfection. Service friendly and correct. Good wine list. Reasonably priced

This restaurant was advised from our bed and breakfast and I have to say that I am very happy. Food was great and cost was very low. Big portion and very delicious Artigianal sicilian beer was very good. Unfortunately the second evening was closed otherwise we would have eaten there again.

Charming venue, nice people, good wine. Absolutely knockout ricotta ravioli in pork ragu - best I've had!!! Wish I had been hungry enough to try many more dishes.

Maybe we caught it on a bad day or had been spoilt up until this point but this was perhaps the worst meal we have ever had in Sicily, over salted generic pasta/meat sauce, tasteless tomatoes and rubbery mozzarella salad, poor service which instead of trying to work out what was wrong when we didn't eat anything just shrugged and... We had delicious food served for our party of 5 adults and one child. Fantastic vegetable soup, pastas with a variety of rich sauces and the slow cooked pork to finish. The waitress was delightful and attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a very late lunch and came here because it was one of the few places still open. A gratis serving of blood oranges bathed in olive oil, salt, and spring onions was great, a combination of which I would have not thought to pair. The appetizers were very good: Sicilian cheeses and salami and a warm serving of eggplant... More

Food is traditional as is the room and ambience. The primi with fresh pasta very good, the secondi also really good. A LOT of meat. Not elegant cooking. Deserts mediocre as is often the case in Italy. Service somewhat erratic.
