Very good meal overall. Definitely can recommend.

Had a very late lunch and came here because it was one of the few places still open. A gratis serving of blood oranges bathed in olive oil, salt, and spring onions was great, a combination of which I would have not thought to pair. The appetizers were very good: Sicilian cheeses and salami and a... read more

Charming venue, nice people, good wine. Absolutely knockout ricotta ravioli in pork ragu - best I've had!!! Wish I had been hungry enough to try many more dishes.

Maybe we caught it on a bad day or had been spoilt up until this point but this was perhaps the worst meal we have ever had in Sicily, over salted generic pasta/meat sauce, tasteless tomatoes and rubbery mozzarella salad, poor service which instead of trying to work out what was wrong when we didn't eat anything just shrugged and... We had delicious food served for our party of 5 adults and one child. Fantastic vegetable soup, pastas with a variety of rich sauces and the slow cooked pork to finish. The waitress was delightful and attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Food is traditional as is the room and ambience. The primi with fresh pasta very good, the secondi also really good. A LOT of meat. Not elegant cooking. Deserts mediocre as is often the case in Italy. Service somewhat erratic.

We found this restaurant while walking in Ragusa center, from outside the restaurant seems to be very little and not really organized, few tables, kind of family' restaurant, BUT when you sit down you already notice there is something special. We got a special pasta made with zucchini, potatoes and rabbit meat. Amaaaaaaaazing, the pasta was mixing perfectly with the... More

Luckily, we decided on this restaurant during our one day stay in Ragusa Ibla. It turned out to best the best meal I had in Sicily, which is high praise indeed as all our meals in Sicily were good. This is an extremely friendly restaurant. The cooking is really serious - meaning that it is very high quality. It seems... More

Mid-late October, we visited twice (says a lot) and were impressed. Carefully prepared dishes, quietly and calmly presented. There's an understated excellence here plus friendly service and ambience. A must.

We had been eating at a sweet inexpensive eatery close by and decided to try Cucina e Vino the next night. What a treat. I can't quite remember everything we ordered but I do remember the homemade ravioli...it was mouth-watering delicious. I would fly there just to have it again.

We found this restaurant by accident while visiting Ragusa Ibla and suddenly deciding that we were hungry. The first restaurant we came upon in this little village had a pretty limited menu so we kept walking and came upon Cucina e Vino. The menu had some interesting options (like donkey), but we opted for the beef shank and the stuffed... More
