This hole in the wall had gotten great reviews, obviously ballot stuffing. Our biggest food mistake of our trip, we were ignored and forgotten. The food was worthy of Walmart/chewy shoe.... Skip this place at all effort and cost

After reading many reviews and being so excited to come we were so disappointed. My husband and I are big foodies but the food did not deliver. You eat much better if you fawn all over genaro and flirt with him. The price is set but the amount of courses depends on the above as we'll as the amount of... More

Tiny place, need to reserve with owner/chef (and hope he remembers). We did not have the full-on one-on-one experience with him that others have described. Seemed like the same menu options that have been mentioned. Food very good. Wines were upgraded on his recommendation. A nice break from the other restaurants in the area, many of which tend to blend... More

Lively atmosphere, generous portions, friendly waiter/chef. Decent value too, €80 for a great bottle of wine, two starters, two mains and cheese to finish.

We met an American couple in Ravello who told us we should try Vivaro's wine bar in Praiano for a truly unique experience. They explained the casual concept of the menu to us. A few days later, we decided to hike the walk of the god's from Positano to Praiano. As the sun was setting 4 or 5 hours later... More

We chose this place because of all the positive reviews on Tripadviser. It took a few days to get a reservation but it was definitely worth the wait! Not only is it a totally unique experience with the owner Gennaro doing absolutely everything (he is a one man show!) but the food that he prepares is truly delicious. The concept... More

We probably went to about 30 different restaurants on our trip to Europe, and this was my favorite dining experience. It was also the only place that we went twice I'll start with the things I love about this place, then provide a quick tips guide for a successful trip to Vivaro for the uninitiated. Things I love: -The restaurant... More

This little restaurant was an online discovery and had been highly rated. We wanted to give it a try. First 2 visits (sign outside said service at 7:00 pm) were to a dark place - no one there. The late evening of the second try we wandered by and saw the doors open and saw the chef and a few... More

Had a fabulous night here....great food, wine and company. We felt like we were sitting in the kitchen of an Italian home such was the hospitality. If you have only one meal out during your visit to Priaino make sure it is at Vivaro!

We booked a table here before coming on our trip as we had read great reviews. On arrival we were asked whether we would like meat or fish and me and my boyfriend both chose the fish option. First we were brought poached amberjack which was very delicate and tasty. Then we were brought a seafood pasta after he showed... More
