Amazing meal

Choose between meat and fish, everything else happens by itself. Meal includes two dishes per person (30 euros) excellent home atmosphere.

We were great fans of Vivaro and I have given it a good rating, but as far I am concerned, things have fallen apart in the past few years. The owner is not capabe of cooking and serving and the service is lacking unless he finds you interesting. We ordered fish which came with bad pasta with tomato sauce on the... More

This is NOT one of those tourist spots where you have beautiful views of the sea. The quarters are close. Genaro owns, cooks, clears and helps select. We were given a choice: meat or fish. That's when the adventure begins. Genaro serves what is fresh and ready to go. Incredible, perfect size portions and course after course. Genaro will help... More

Everything you read about this place is true. One of the most unforgettable dining experiences. We WILL be going back! The wines are superb, locally sourced and exceptional value for money. The food was outstanding. We opted for fish and were not disappointed. The sea bream was cooked to perfection. "Like eating a delicious cloud" was my wife's analogy. As... More

No menu, just do you want meat or fish and red or white wine, then the magic begins, he just keeps bringing out more food and more wine, like you never dreamed of! You will NOT be disapointed and do NOT ever ask for a menu ( he hates that)!

This one man run small business is a unique and first rate dining experience. There are no menus, just the owner/chef/server who asks what you like and proceeds to amaze and surprise with a series of simply prepared but delicious dishes. The best fish and steak we've ever tasted! You're given quite a lot of food so maybe not somewhere... More

My wife and I spent five days in Paris and five days along the Amalfi Coast in April 2015. Of all the meals we had in Paris and Italy, our two dinners at Vivaro Wine Bar in Praiano were the very best of the entire trip! It is important to know that when you go to Vivaro, you should expect... More

Do Go. For 30 Euro a person you get more food than you need and it is good value in the end. Don't go if you a picky eater with lots of NEEDS! but if you willing to take a chance and put yourself in the hands of the chef you will have a great experience. Any bad reviews for... More

This was quite an experience. The owner/chef gave us great wine pairings with a delicious meal. We both had the seafood and couldn't be happier with the friendly service. The restaurant is small so you should call for a reservation in the high season.

We've stumbled upon Vivaro on a chance, and it was a great one! The food was nothing short than amazing. And there was a lot of it. There is no menu. Before you start the chef asks you what you like, and if you have any allergies, and that's it. You are set to a full Italian meal carefully prepared... More
