One man show. No menu. Enter with an open mind and palate. Enjoy the people watching as evening strollers pass by. Cozy, romantic.

I really wish we had found this restaurant sooner! We ate there 2 nights and ordered the fish one night and meat the other and had 2 of the most delicious meals of all of our travels (and, we have traveled a bunch)! His food has so much flavor, which we found to be lacking in other meals we had... More

One of the things that has struck us about our visit to this part of Italy is that for the most part, every single restaurant has adapted itself very slightly to cater for tourists. Whilst the food is often delicious, we've found that waiters can sometimes oversell and as a result the experience sometimes feels a little contrived. We were... More

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a couple of fellows we met on the local bus on the way back from Positano. We hadn't really noticed the restaurant, as it is quite small. Anyway, we had been told that there wasn't a menu - you just had what was provided on the night. We liked this idea and... More

The chef and owner is Genaro who was born on the island of Vivaro hence the name of the restaurant. This place seats about 30 people at best and Genaro will be your waiter and cook. There is no menu. You have a choice of meat or fish and he will go away and create an amazing meal of several... More

Mmmm, I guess at some point in the distant past, this establishment may have been interesting, partly because of the concept, ie., no menu, just a fixed price for meat or fish and wine. That's where the buck stops - the owner/cook (I can't call him a chef) is a Prima Donna with a super inflated ego; this was the... More

Introduced to us by our local driver as one of best eateries in Praino, the restaurant with noname but requiring reservations. We immediately made reservations, and Gennaro was extremely courteous and welcoming. This rather understated restaurant is outstanding in the quality of food and wine that it serves. It is a "ONE MAN" place who is host, server, chef, and... More

we knew that we would not get a menu but only a choice between surf and turf. nearly everybody was choosing the fish that night and we did the same and we did not regret it. my wife thought that the antipasti would be the only thing we would have to eat but that was followed by sea bass that... You just need to say if you like meet or fish... The pasta was perfect. The steak was just ok. Deserts could be better..
