The food is excellent and the service is amazing. Also open until late. Try the spaghetti alici e noci.. It's really good!
We visited the restaurant 3 times in a one week stay back in 2008 and are so excited to be returning March 13 for my 50th birthday. Salvatore and his mamma are the perfects hosts and mama cooks the best, fresh Italian food that we had anywhere in Italy! Trying to find an email address for Salvatore - if anyone... More
We found this little gem by accident and ended up dining here several times. The fresh seafood was wonderful and the service was top notch. They really treated us like family. The family wine and and dessert drinks were honestly to die for! You must check out this restaurant if you are in the area!
The food and location was really lovely and had that rustic charm to it.Each table was lit with a little ceramic oil lantern. The only thing I would fault was the service. The young woman serving us really did not want to be there and it seemed it was a real chore for her. They need to ensure all their... More
The best carbonara in Italia! That is how this review has to start. The Bar Mare Petit Restaurant is probably one of the hardest little restaurants to get to - BUT the MOST WORTH the trip. The marina area is down at the bottom, really at sea level, of a steep gully from the bay. You either walk down a... More
We had a really good meal at this restaurant and really enjoyed the food, the ambience and the personnel. Would recommend it to anyone!
Great little place in a superb location, food wasn't bad either.Had a meal and drink late one evening. nice watching the fishermen rowing their boats onto the beach. The walk up the path to Priana was a bit of a struggle.
We stayed at Onda Verde which is directly above this restaurant, and we dined here twice in 6 days. The staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. Not too mention that while you eat, you are surrounded by the huge cliffs and Mediterranean Sea. We learned that the family that owns the restaurant has been there since before... More
We recently visited the Amalfi Coast and stayed in at the Hotel Onda Verde in Praiano. We wanted to have a casual dinner after our crazy and stressful drive from Naples (I don’t recommend self driving unless you are very comfortable with lots of very tight hairpin turns). We decided to go to the small cove below the hotel. There... More
Our second year in Praiano and we couldn't wait to go back to Bar Mare. It's the smallest and busiest of 3 restaurants at La Praia beach, run by Salvatore and his mamma. There's nothing pretentious about Bar Mare and has an easy going relaxed atmosphere . The seafood is divine, and a meal wouldn't be complete without some of... More
