The staff and the food was excellent. We had the mixed grill seafood with pasta and the shrimp zuchina with pasta. Both were very good and recommended by our server Virginia who was very friendly. We felt as if were dining at a friends home. We will go back there soon.

Not sure what happened but we went to this place on recommendation from the TA reviews and left more than underwhelmed. Staff were great, location great but generally you go to a restaurant for the food right? Sack the chef, the mix grill of fish was either from the freezer, reheated or cooked beyond resemblance. Salvatore and Mama, treated us so well the first time we stayed in Praiano that I booked last years little get away around staying as close to bar Mare as possible. Lovely people and fantastic food, even gave me a lesson in how to make the local pasta.

I was lucky to find this fantastic place! Typical friendly italian service, with the owners sitting on your table and making you feel absolutely confortable. Mama, Papa and Salvatore run the place serving delicious fresh sea food and pasta. Maybe the best octopus salad, sea food risotto and tiramisú I have ever had. Don't miss this small, super charming place.
