Wouldn't step foot in there- owner too rude

Having dined at Da Vincenzo three times, I believe it to be the best trattoria in Positano. Wonderful, delicious local dishes; excellent, welcoming staff and a very good wine list - at very reasonable prices. I suspect that you won't eat better in this beautiful Amalfi jewel.

From Rome to Naples, Capri, Positano, Da Vincenzo was with no contest what we were expecting from Italian cuisine: fresh and unpretentious dishes from the fields and sea of the Amalfi coast. I am French and my girlfriend is from NYC, two different taste but same conclusion after 3 diners in 5 days: Da Best!

Fantastic staff; local dish of beef with onion sauce over pasta wanted to make me become a local; best rigatoni with zucchini we've ever had; table next to us had the eggplant parmagiana and made us jealous. Excellent dessert selection; definitely try the tiramisu.

Don't believe negative reviewers ate at the same restaurant. The mussels at this place are amazing. They have ruined me for others, I've been trolling NYC since my honeymoon for any that compare. The service was excellent. The whole family made my husband and I feel so welcome. We were only in Positano 3 nights and ate here twice. Wish... More

With all the Trip Advisor reviews and Rick Steves recommendations, this place felt a bit touristy, but the service was outstanding and the food was killer. My husband and I both ordered pasta and were just raving with every bite. We sat outside, which was nice for the view, but cars and vespas speed by you the entire time and... More

We were in Positano for our honeymoon in July 2014 and were told by three different friends that we had to eat at Da Vincenzo. Lucky for us, it was right near our hotel. The day we arrived, we stopped by to make reservations--there were still same-day reservations available but no tables on the outside patio. The patio is fun... More

Location appears out of reach for some, but they will send a car to pick you up and take you back after dinner. Aiada, the owner's niece is fabulous. Take warning: the portions are huge. Food and wine is reasonably priced. Great atmosphere and a must do for the view alone!

Friendly and tasty. Slightly odd style of fish filleting that did not remove all the bones, but all the rest of the food was yummy.
