Pros: great service, wine. Good food! Beautiful view. Can sit outside. Strolling musicians made it seem festive. Cons: you're right on the road so it's noisy with speeding motorcycles, cars. You also get smell of exhaust. Neighborhood dog and birds were walking by and under the table. We're not animal lovers. Strolling musicians were very aggressive in pushing us to... More

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with us. We have been very happy to have you here as our guests. Regarding the outside terrace is mostly advisable for who want to enjoy the view but as a public space on the internal road surely can be more busy in some hours of the day, especially in high season. We... More

Pleasant setting, tables at roadside opposite the restaurant, do get passing vehicles not so bad at night. Menu good choice and extensive wine list and stocks and good advice on wine. Food of mixed quality. First time I've every had half a lobster that only contained in it's tail less meat than a small prawn!! Not impressed. Scallops were also... More

Thanks a lot for take your time to share your experience in our restaurant. We are sorry to hear that you consider our food of mixed quality. We daily go and take the best products available on the market and the lobsters used are alive and generically are the same size all over the area. Surely the menu offers also... More

We stayed close to this restaurant and found it to be one of the highlights of our trip to Italy and Positano! The views are amazing and the food and service match it. Also the staff who were young were well versed in wine and gave us some excellent recommendations and we arefussy about our wine. We ate here three... More

We ate at this restaurant twice during our stay at a nearby hotel. The view cannot be surpassed and we enjoyed dining outside on one occasion & inside with friends on the second night. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious! My husband and I both had the best pasta with lobster we had ever tasted and the Tiramisu was... More

Yes the view is lovely, if you manage to sit outside squeezed next to someone else. We found it difficult to have a conversation when all we could hear were other peoples conversations and traffic whizzing past. The food is OK, nothing special. In fact my husband had shell fish and it was full of grains of sand and what... More

We managed to find a parking place which was a miracle and wandered down the road into Positano in search of a late lunch. Da Gabrisa looked an appealing place so we looked at the menu and watched as well presented food was being delivered onto the terrace for other diners. Decision made. I ordered chicken breast cooked in lemon... More

The food is so fresh that you could feel every single ingredient. I will surely suggest it to couples which would like great food, great service, great view, away from the noisy part of the town. We also took a cooking class , where we were preparing fresh pasta, ravioli and gnocchi - incredible experience and very useful in the... More

Having found one of these elusive Positano parking spots, we happened upon da Gabrisa at 11:30, much to early for lunch. The most accommodating staff made nothing of it and served a most memorable lunch at their road-side outdoor eating area. The wait staff risks their lives every time they bring another dish, but they do it with a grand... More

The view alone is worth a visit. If possible, book in advance to get a table outside. We had a house speciality antipasti, various salad, and it was great! The sea bass was also great, but unfortunately we were not aware there was no garnish, just green beans. If we had known, the food would have been perfect. Great service,... More
