We have stayed in a Positano before and walked past, without noticing it. During a recent stay we were walking for somewhere to eat she stumbled across it. It is in a nice quiet quadrant with good seating and a really nice relaxed atmosphere. Just at the foot if the lower church steps. We liked it immediately. The food was... More

A lovely little bar / restaurant. Made very welcome indeed. Manager and staff were lovely. Only a small place with a small number of tables inside and out. Well shaded. Infact went to Positano for a day trip and ended up here twice it was so nice! ;0)

Only a few tables (inside and outside), but great service, ideal hidden setting and delicious drinks. Will be back the next time in Positano.

We just went there as a coiple for a glass of wine and a snack. The manager was really nice and made us try different wines. He explained the wines and served a plate of local cheese and hams (much better than other higher end places we went to). The little plaza/street between the beach and the church is also... More

We had lunch here now twice and want to go back again, dinner tomorrow night? Like the little garden atmosphere on the terrace outside. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Most importantly: great food! We tried various panini and the spaghetti with meatballs and some desserts. All dishes we had we enjoyed and for a very reasonable price too! Very... More

Sat outside in their casual courtyard for dinner one evening. This restaurant is located in central Positano on one of the winding streets that leads down to the beach. There is no sea view at this place however is still pleasant. Even though its only a couple of minutes walk to the beach it doesn't charge horrendous prices. For eur... More

I wrote down some restaurant names that seemed to be worth exploring in Positano and happened to come across Wine Dark House in the very first day. It boasts a very nice shady patio so we didn't even think twice. The food is fresh and perfectly prepared, everything we ordered was delicious. Great choice of wine as well, the owner,... More

This restaurant serves delicious Italian dishes with a varied menu which should please everyone. They do offer a hamburger selection, but do yourself a favour and try something more adventurous. The first night we had calamari, octopus, eggplant and spaghetti with meatballs.

We wandered into this restaurant our first night in Positano and were blown away. The BEST risotto in the world! The shell fish in it, was sweet, and fresh, and perfect. The meat and cheeses antipasta was amazing as well. In fact, we went back the very next day and ordered the same thing it was SO GOOD! The desert... More

The owner sat us right away.We wanted to buy a bottle of local wine for dinner. He told us that he would like to bring over some tastes first so we would get what we liked. We found that to be very helpful since otherwise we would have been only taking our chances. We took our time with dinner and... More
