Fantastic views with food and service to match. We went exploring and decided to walk up the hill to the right. There we came upon this little restaurant and took time for a beer and a light lunch. Not expecting too much we were really suprised by how good the food was. The excellent food was matched by equally superb... More

We have been to a number of restaurants in Positano that are ranked higher on Trip Advisor than Li Galli, but it is better than all of them. The food was delicious - fresh and inventive.  The service could not have been more attentive.  We did not stay in the hotel but the staff went out of its way to... More

I've been to La Sponda in Positano, michelin star restaurant, and Li Galli is WAY better. The service, and the food are surprisingly amazing. The price is reasonable for what you get, the deserts are to die for. Don't miss it.

As a foodie and an interior designer, this restaurant was beyond any expectations. The food was excellent, service excellent.... and the setting magical. Flatware, dinnerware, wine decanters were all elegant and understated. Staff was attentive and professional.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Villa Franca while in Positano for our 30th anniversary. We like to eat at local restaurants but our first and last nights we decided to eat in the hotel's restaurant. The chef is incredibly creative. His menu reflects his palate and thoughtful combining of flavors. As an appetizer on our first night he... More

The food here is exceptional, the views sublime. For this reason, it's worth putting up with the service and the cost. It's in the cozy dining room for the Villa Franca hotel and a bit of a trek if you're hoofing it from the town centre but definitely worth a visit.

Looking at some of the photos and reviews, I think there are two places being confused here. I believe this is the restaurant attached to the Villa Franca Hotel, not a cafe in a different part of Positano. My review is for the Villa Franca restaurant. We stayed here for a wedding and ate here daily. The wedding meal in... More

Our first night in Positano found us very weary after a long day of travel. We couldn't muster the energy to cook so we took a flight of stairs up to the main street and the first place we saw was the Hotel Villa Franca with it's restaurant, Li Galli. We were fortunate that they had a table overlooking the... More

This isn't a place for a great dinner, but great fro a glass of wine and a small plate. The views are extraordinary and its right on the street, as are many of the restaurants in Positano.
