After reading reviews and walking by this restaurant we were eager to try it, but it turned out to be the only disappointing meal we have had in our 10 day trip. The service was initially very attentive, and the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. No argument there at all. We both ordered the lobster ravioli, which sounded delightful, but turned... More

The food, service and ambience here was stellar. This was our last dinner before we head home and this did not disappoint. Highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner.

A wonderful setting in an outdoor courtyard, right in the centre of Positano. The service was excellent, with just the right amount of attention. The food was so good we eat there twice in the week. Seafood is good, but the rack of lamb was fantastic. Keep to the local wines of Falanghina(white), and Aglianico(red), and you won't go far... More

Although expensive, for a special ocassion this restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, candel light, set in a garden and ldelicious food. The service was a bit slow but were were in no hurry. It was away from the tourist crowds which was a big plus for us. We both had the king red prawns for main course, a lovely salad... More

Food is excellent as is the service but the cost is among the highest for any restaurant in town. Worth a try though because you will eat in a gorgeous terrace.

It is hard to find a place near to the beach that doesn't cater strictly to tourists. We had AMAZING service here and there was not all the chaos of the restaurants closer to the beach. This was a perfect date night and I would definitely return.

The restaurant is candle lit and in lovely garden setting but I can't get over how shockingly terrible the service is...really really slow and unpleasant. We are finding the extremely slow lethargic service to be quite the norm in our trip to Italy so not sure if this is just typical. The food is pricey and tasted quite nice but... More

Our party of 5 went to this restaurant to celebrate a special anniversary. We booked ahead and were glad we did as other guests were turned away. The waiters are elegantly dressed to match the restaurant's furnishings. It really has a romantic feel. The waiters were attentive and keen to give advice when asked about the menu. I started with... The Hotel where the restaurant is located could not have anything below its standards. And the restaurant Al Palazzo keeps up to them. Tasty food. Fairly large wine list, good service. I would only suggest a professional sommelier to help decide about the pairings. Very good.
