Food is excellent as is the service but the cost is among the highest for any restaurant in town. Worth a try though because you will eat in a gorgeous terrace.

It is hard to find a place near to the beach that doesn't cater strictly to tourists. We had AMAZING service here and there was not all the chaos of the restaurants closer to the beach. This was a perfect date night and I would definitely return.

The restaurant is candle lit and in lovely garden setting but I can't get over how shockingly terrible the service is...really really slow and unpleasant. We are finding the extremely slow lethargic service to be quite the norm in our trip to Italy so not sure if this is just typical. The food is pricey and tasted quite nice but... More

Our party of 5 went to this restaurant to celebrate a special anniversary. We booked ahead and were glad we did as other guests were turned away. The waiters are elegantly dressed to match the restaurant's furnishings. It really has a romantic feel. The waiters were attentive and keen to give advice when asked about the menu. I started with... The Hotel where the restaurant is located could not have anything below its standards. And the restaurant Al Palazzo keeps up to them. Tasty food. Fairly large wine list, good service. I would only suggest a professional sommelier to help decide about the pairings. Very good.

We had a birthday meal here with friends. Attention to detail, magnificent presentation, wonderful flavours and a modern twist on Italian classics. Not a cheap meal but worth it.

After reading reviews we thought this would be a great place to eat. We went to take a look and were soundly sneered at when we asked for a table without having made a reservation. There was no hint of a welcome, and an offer of a table later that evening or the next night. The head waiter could not... More

We ate twice at this restaurant whilst spending 10 days at the Palazzo Murat. Both meals were wonderful - yes, quite expensive, but the whole dining experience there was amazing. The food was beautifully cooked and presented and dessert on the 2nd occasion was one of the best I've ever had (a millefeuille with chocolate mousse and raspberries - heaven!).... More
