We found this restaurant on a walk during the day and booked a table for dinner that night. The owner was fantastic as were the wait staff. The food was excellent and the prices reasonable. We wanted to try places that the locals would eat at and not just tourist places. The house wine was amazing for the price point... More

Delicious meal and spectacular views. Stayed at Conco d'Oro ad it is within walking distance. Bellisimo!

We went to Positano last November and there were not so many restaurants open, somebody suggested this place and we were very glad to go there to have dinner. We ate there the best bruschetta ever! The atmosphere was very comfortable and the food was very good, we wanted to go to a place where locals use to eat. It... More

We went to Positano in November so restaurants were very few. I was really glad that this was open. This was by far the best restaurant that we ate at in Positano. I had gnocci and it was the best I've ever had. I still think about it often. Portions were great, house wine was great and the mussels were... More

One of the few restaurants open in November in Positano. Food was so good we ate there two nights. Easy walk from our hotel. Enjoyed the lasagna, pasta bolognese , salad, and wine. Warm reception from the hostess and family atmosphere. Shared the tiramisu with dinner companion,it was so delicious. Reasonable prices for food and wine, good service ,and excellent food.... More

Il Fornillo is a good place to eat in Positano, and in mid-Nov when most other restaurants are closed, it is a great place to eat. The soups are excellent - bean and vegetable. Pizza is good. Pastas are good. Wine is reasonably priced and the ambience is very nice. Staff is friendly, but not overly attentive, which is standard.

We were recommended to go to this place by our hotel, and the food and ambiance was so great and comforting, we ended up eating there 3 of the 4 nights that we stayed at Positano. We ate the homemade pasta; clams, cheese, the gratinated sea bass, an enormous piece of grilled steak and yummy tiramisu...My partner has a fish... More

There were not many options as we went to Positano in low season. the service was friendly and the menu full of options. minestrone, octopus and grilled mozzarella were the best options.

We had dinner there and we all ordered all different dishes. The food was incredible. The wine recommendation was spot on. We all tried each others dishes and they were all fantastic. This place was recommended by our hotel and it did not disappoint. There are three ladies that run the place and wait the tables and they provided excellent... More

Loved the vegetable risotto, desert with ricotta cheese and pears was great! Great family style run establishment. Cozy and warm atmosphere for chilly November evenings!
