Amazing food, to many westerners

the food was amazing. The seafood plate was delicious, and the shrimp pasta was fantastic. However while sitting at the table, it felt more like Southern California down town hotspot then a romantic positano restaurant. Wish I could give it a 1 star on atmosphere, but 5 on the food.

I was here with my wife on our honeymoon-trip. We are 30 and 35 years old. The first impression was that we have had arrived in the United States. Just about everyone in the restaurant spoke English with an American accent, probably an heritage of John Steinbeck giving Positano a big thumbs up back in the day. We were on... More

This restaurant was within walking distance of the villa that we had rented and it was highly rated so we needed to check it out. having been to 2 other restaurants nearby we had an ideal way to compare. Next 2 is by far the best! My wife and I both had salads and then we shared the lobster special... More

This restaurant has michelin stars but the food was not as good as we thought it would be. There is no view of the sea at all either even if you sit outside. We thought other restaurants in Positano were much better. Also if you don't make a reservation you will likely get a seat in the back of the... More

This was narrowly put in 2nd place for my meal of the holiday but my wife's number 1! The setting is lovely, staff are really friendly, the food was full of flavour throughout and once the food is good, you are can't complain too much.. And the wine was also very good.. I would happily recommend for a nice treat... More

Although it doesn't have a view we loved Next 2. The service was great-efficient and top notch without being stuffy and pompous and super friendly. The food was really delicious and for us was better than La Sponda which has a Michelin star. It's more expensive than some restaurants but it delivers on the quality of food and dining experience.... More

We at at several locations, but this particular restaurant knows how to cater to American clientele. The food was excellent as was the service. The ambience it very nice, but you don't have much of a view from this location. Highly recommended.

From the delicious amuse bouche of a small caprese salad, to the delicious salad of rocket, parmesan, fresh tomatoes to the most delicious mixed grill of the freshest fish to a light and beautiful dessert of lemon sorbet, it was a beautiful meal. The staff was so kind and polite, making suggestions and bringing us bellini's made with fresh strawberries... More

The dining room is very light and airy, service excellent and food superb. I had the fish carpaccio followed by meatballs in a delicious tomato sauce and my wife had the zucchini flowers followed by ravioli. All the dishes were superb.

Again, the staff at every establishment we went to made the meal and the experience unforgettable. They are all professional and friendly as can be, had working and knowledgeable. Next2 for us, was the most elegant of Ristoranti... the chef sent out complimentary antipasti and desserts, and every bite was delicious. I don't remember our waietr's name (too much wine)... More
