We had an absolutely amazing dinner here. The owner picked us up from our hotel and brought us directly to the restaurant. The atmosphere is classy and comfortable, with Italians dining there. The menu was all in Italian (which we actually liked - felt more authentic) and the waiters were kind and helpful, and explained the menu to us. The... More

The restaurant is a few minutes away from Positano. They offer a free shuttle service. I agree with most other contributors, the food is very nice, service is very friendly location is better than just ok. The entire experience, given the price, is very good. A place to visit.

La Tavern del Leone was by far the best restaurant in Positano. While many of the other restaurants in town have beautiful views of the sea, La Taverna del Leone has a spectacular view of an immaculate kitchen. Watching the chefs was like watching a well orchestrated concert. The orange and shrimp risotto, the vegetable strudel, lentil soup, homemade pastas,... More

Truly one of the best pizzas we have ever had. They also have great pasta as well. Highly recommend this as one if the top 3 restaurants in Positano. They will pick you up at your hotel and drop you off after. The wait staff is lovely and the open kitchen is an added bonus.

We walked down one night and ordered a meal after reading about it. We ordered one thing and received another albeit with most sincere apologies from the gorgeous wait person. This place didn't work for me insofar as quality or taste of the food went.

This restaurant is just ok. No complaints, but just ok. It is a nice set-up inside, with an open kitchen, a fireplace. There is a terrace, open to the road. No view of the sea, if that's what you are looking for- just the mountains. The service is great- very professional. The food is good, but it is what we... More

We were recommended this restaurant by the Italian family that owned our hotel. They said this is where they go to eat. Although no views the food and service was outstanding.

Owner picked us up and gave a ride back to our rental apt. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Ciro. The house wine was very good and the food was fresh and delicious. The open kitchen was very clean and the fresh ingredients of the day displayed for you to choose from for pizza toppings and sides. Loved the... More

The place decor is simple. The owner, not very friendly. We had made reservations in advance. Upon arriving, we addressed the owner, who was talking to some customers. He ignored us and called someone to take care of us. Never did he come back or come to our table to say hello. Despite this curious behaviour, everything else was fine.... More

Out of town but owner will pick you up. Local food full of local people. Good quality food for a very good price. No view but an open kitchen that will take your attention
