Description: The Mediterraneo is a little family run restaurant where we will take care of our guests in a nice, romantic but unformal atmosphere. We try to keep traditional flavors and recepies as first of all we do like eating.Using fresh seasonal products, we like to cook fish specialties, vegetables and "al dente" home-made pasta, the same way our grandmas used to.The right location for pre-wedding lunch. It's mostly a nice place where you can sit, eat and drink well, discussing of art or listening to good napolitan live music. Enzo always organises art exibitions, books presentation, wine tastings and music evenings.

We arrived a few days ago in Positano. After climbing 300 steps to where we were to meet our host in the afternoon, we needed a place to rest our feet and have a drink. The maître d' of the Mediterraneo waived us in, gave us a lovely table outside, and let us sit for two hours with all our... More

Super friendly staff, super good food! We arrived around 8 without a reservation and were lucky to get s table outside - if you come later you have to probably sit inside (which is also nice but outside is truly better...). The meal (pasta con vongole and fish) was excellent and the price was ok. (About 20% higher than Puglia... More

it was perfectly adequate, but I think one can do better. it was on the road, you could see the water easily but it would be nicer to be at one of the places directly on the water. Just nothing great about the place.

My husband and I had dinner here during our stay in Positano. We were able to walk to the restaurant from Hotel Victoria where we were staying. If you walk be real careful. Stay to the extreme right or left and keep your ears and eyes open for traffic. We sat outside which was really great, but the traffic was... More

We were recommended this place by Vito the fruit stall owner near La Agavi. He told us to look up Rodrigo the owner which we did. Graet food wine and friendly service. Will visit here again anytime

We went for dinner based off our hotel's recommendation and good ta reading. The service was friendly, but our pasta dish was undercooked and the sauce seemed somewhat generic and bland. Good value, but a little lacking in quality...maybe we just came on an day...

A quality recommendation from our hotel which did not disappoint. The seafood options were terrific as was the drinks list. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco a great way to start a meal! Our only mistake was to eat outside right next to the road traffic - our fault not theirs!

We were a group of six in Positano for 5 nights. This restaurant was recommended to us and did not disappoint. We actually went there twice during our stay. Food was good and people who worked there were very happy .

The restaurant is nice, and the food is good. However there are many other restaurants in this area that are better. I have awarded it four out of five simply because the staff are welcoming and the good is good - however it needs something to set it apart if it is to move up the popularity list.

My partner and I were recommended this place by our hotel staff. We certainly weren't disappointed. The meal was absolutely beautiful, great service, and we got to have our first taste of Limoncello, and certainly not our last. Our fabulous waitress described it as "gasoline"!! She was right!! A lovely view, great atmosphere, definitely get the seafood!!
