Description: The Mediterraneo is a little family run restaurant where we will take care of our guests in a nice, romantic but unformal atmosphere. We try to keep traditional flavors and recepies as first of all we do like eating.Using fresh seasonal products, we like to cook fish specialties, vegetables and "al dente" home-made pasta, the same way our grandmas used to.The right location for pre-wedding lunch. It's mostly a nice place where you can sit, eat and drink well, discussing of art or listening to good napolitan live music. Enzo always organises art exibitions, books presentation, wine tastings and music evenings.

We ate at this little place more than once during our stay in Positano. Reservations were not required and the welcome was warm. Food in any resort can be questionable, but what the Mediterraneo serves is freshley prepared and good quality. The fish is fresh; the pasta is homemade. The wine is a bit pricey, but there is enough variety... More

Food is not good. House wine is worse. The one food experience that disappointed us during our trip.

We had dinner at a restaurant up the street, but could hear music coming from this restaurant the whole time. On our way back to the hotel we decided to stop in at the Ristorante Mediterraneo for a final drink and were quickly included in the ongoing birthday celebration party of locals and eventually serenaded for our anniversary with a... We walked by this place on a Wednesday evening. Were hungry so we popped in for a bite. The waiter was a little funny, we tried to ask for recommendations on the menu but something may have been lost in translation. Either way we made some decisions and ordered some food and wine. Sat back and just enjoyed the nice... More

We arrived without a reservation and the staff at the restaurant found a table for the 6 of us without waiting too long. The menu was varied with a seafood theme. Wine selection was good. It was our first night in Positano, and team at Ristorante Mediterraneo made it memorable.

This place started off well... Ithas great views and the waiters were very friendly and gave us complimentary champagne . .. But we found it was added to the bill, as was the tap water! 4 euros for two small glasses of tap water. The food was average, not bad but not interesting, but being charged for things I hadn't... This place always seemed busy and buzzy and we didn't visit until toward the end of our stay and it didn't disappoint. The zucchini flowers (courgettes for me!) stuffed with ricotta were just simply incredible. Really truly my favourite dish of a two week stay! A nice little free glass of Prosecco on arrival from the lovely well spoken italian... More

We popped in here for dinner a few nights ago on our way home. The food was good quality and value. Our waiter Deigo was a great young man who was lots of fun and very helpful. I hope he has the chance to visit Australia one day. All the staff appeared to be personable. Keep up the good work... More

Dropped in for an evening meal after a full days touring. My wife and I were a bit tired, and in need of a rest and good meal. We were given a complimentary glass of prosecco , as soon as we sat down. The food came out without delay and was very good. This review is more about our waiter,... More

Again only one visit, but it was recommended to us, and we were not disappointed, the food was very good and to cap it all we were entertained by a very competent guitar playing singer. one funny thing! This guy sang the usual Italian Ballads and a bit of Opera. I had to laugh when a Brit asked him if... More
