The Mediterraneo is a little family run restaurant where we will take care of our guests in a nice, romantic but unformal atmosphere. We try to keep traditional flavors and recepies as first of all we do like eating.Using fresh seasonal products, we like to cook fish specialties, vegetables and "al dente" home-made pasta, the same way our grandmas used to.The right location for pre-wedding lunch. It's mostly a nice place where you can sit, eat and drink well, discussing of art or listening to good napolitan live music. Enzo always organises art exibitions, books presentation, wine tastings and music evenings.

Great food and kind, engaging staff

One of the best meals I had in Italy, and service was excellent! Further, I left my purse at the restaurant, and one of the staff was kind enough to track us down on his scooter to deliver it! Good house wine, and prices fair. Thanks again for the experience!

The ambience of the place was great and the setting in the narrow streets of Positano couldn't be better. That said the prices are expensive but it is what you might expect in the heart of a popular tourist spot. My family enjoyed the food but I found my dish to be be less than perfect - avoid the grilled... More

We enjoyed our 25th anniversary in Positano in August. We were told in advance about many different "favourite" restaurants in Positano, but we like trying many. This was the only one that we returned to a second time. The food was magnificent. The service was fun. We felt like we were part of a big Italian family event. They had... More

We ate here on a recommendation. The risotto was delicious! And as the evening wore on, the atmosphere was warm and lively.

After a 5km hike to our hotel, we stumbled upon this amazing restaurant overlooking the sea. The seafood risotto we both enjoyed was the best meal we had in Italy (and Australia). The numerous meals we enjoyed there were just as delicious. The service was warm, friendly and very special. We will return one day but until we do; we... More

Good food, the gnocchi is excellent so is the seafood salad. Lovely views to the ocean. Pricing more reasonable than the beachside restaurants.

We had a wonderful meal at Mediterraneo, and great atmosphere in Positano. A truly beautiful place. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff so welcoming. We would definitely eat there again.

Had mussels and my husband had chicken. My mussels were ok but lacked a little flavor but my husbands chicken was wonderful and melted in my mouth.
