We went on a day trip to Positano and found La Cambusa not far from the ferry drop off point. It overlooks the beach but it's not a restaurant which relies on its location to make it memorable. We shared a fried selection of aubergine, mozzarella & rice balls to start with which were just right for 2. For main... More

The food was fantastic; I would particularly recommend the deep-fried 'goodies' starter with breaded mozzarella, risotto balls and all sorts of other seafood. Our pasta dishes and salads were also delicious, as were the wild strawberries we had for dessert. Slightly more expensive than other places we saw in Positano, but keep in mind that you are also paying for... More

My husband and I ate here during our honeymoon in Italy. We'd eaten at a pretty expensive restaurant the night before, but the food here was better! We sat upstairs and the atmosphere was fantastic. The waiter was pretty friendly and was singing to himself as he walked around the restaurant, which was entertaining in itself! We had marinated anchovies... More

Good location and serving excellent, fairly traditional Italian dishes. Great pasta and fish dishes and the wine is very reasonably priced...handwritten wine menu is an interesting touch. Service was efficient but not brusque. Easy to overlook amongst the larger restaurants on the beach but infinitely superior to Le Tre Sorelle downstairs.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful meal here tonight. We didn't have a reservation and had to wait but, it was worth it. The eggplant was amazing!! The portions are huge and Prices are reasonable. Located right next to the beach ... You must visit!!

Firstly let me say that I like spicey food and after 3 visits to Italy, the blandness of pasta was wearing on my appetite. In Positano, this place offers a spectacular range and variety of cuisine with the subtle hints of herbs and spices undrowned by red or green chillies. This has to be the best restaurant I've tried in... More

We ate at this restaurant 2 out of the 4 nights we were in Positano. I wish we ate there all 4 nights!! The food was absolutely amazing. Beautiful Gnocchi, Ravioli and lasagne. We also had great bruschetta and zucchini flowers for entrees. Honestly the best pasta I ate the whole time I was in Italy, we will definitely be... More

My first bad review on trip advisor, our experience was the WORST meal we had in Italy! The local fish was poor quality and overpriced! Our meals were served cold, the service was below average, when we left I politely mentioned the cold meals, they seemed not to care at all! There are so many other great places to choose!... More

We ate here several times. The location is perfect, the food divine and the hospitality was lovely. Absolutely the best lasagne in Italy and we certainly ate a lot of Lasagne. Well priced and good value, we can't wait to return here again.
