Recommended as the place on that main strip that isn't quite the tourist trap. It wasn't too bad. Service was pretty terrible, but the pasta with muscles was delicious and it wasn't just a token one or 2 muscles in there, but a really good amount. Grilled calamari was good too. Not too expensive. Half bottle of local wine great... More

This restaurant as a great view of the Positano beach. However, the staff were not attentive, bordering on rude and the food was poor. My lasagne looked as if it had been reheated for the third or fourth time , burnt and chewy. My partner's food was ok. Best to avoid the specials of the day.

Great position overlooking the beach. The food is good but not consistently outstanding. Decent fish (mixed grill was well cooked if not especially tasty) for which the restaurant is well-known. But the best was a perfectly barbecued, flavoursome steak which had a great charcoal flavour. Veal milanese lacked crispness. Service was fine

You go to La Cambusa for the view and location not particularly for the food. However, we were surprised by the freshness of all the orders. The restaurant is on the beach, the best time to go is around the sunset.

We have been there twice during our four nights stay in Positano. Their dishes may be a bit pricey, but given their great service and good location, they are worth paying. Their strength lies in their fresh seafood pasta and risotto, which taste just perfect. My favourite dish is linguine con scampi. You can taste the sea in the whole... More

Top location. But while the food was reasonable, there's better value to be found elsewhere in Positano in our experience.

Good quality food. Very good mussels and spaghetti with seafood. Great marinated anchovies. Good location and nice views. Service should be improved.
