Charming Positano Restaurant

You'll enjoy both the ambiance and food here. I've dined here 3-4 times during a numer of vacations to Positano - and have been pleased each time. It's seaside Positano, so have seafood dishes, such as squid ink pasta ("black pasta"); or langoustines or any Mediterranean fish. You'll enjoy... read more

I did. Google search for best pizza in Positano. One place was rather far up the road, but another, Covo die Saraceni was perfectly located and also had perfect pizza!! The casual beachside part of the restaurant was what I was looking for when planning my last dinner in Positano. It was everything I wanted it to be.

On a very hot day when we'd taken a boat trip to Amalfi and then to Positano, we decided not to walk round the village, but to take a rest in this wonderful restaurant. The house white wine was excellent and the pasta in a very simple tomato sauce, was undoubtedly the best I've ever eaten. Wonderful too to sit... More

Although the hotel has a fancier restaurant, we chose the beachside casual restaurant with outdoor seating. The view of the hillside and mountains was stunning, not to mention the gorgeous view of the beach and coastline, and we had great pizza for a very reasonable price. Note - the gelato here is a notch below the place underneath the Buca... More

We always stay at the hotel of the same name, right on the waterfront. This is the first tie we ate primarily at this restaurant and we felt the variety, quality of food and level of service were all excellent. The maitre d' and wait staff also work the lovely and delicious morning breakfast buffet for hotel guests and we... More

We popped in off the boat cruise we were taking along the coast and we were a little hungry and found this spot overlooking the harbor and near the beaches. While a white table cloth place they welcomed us in our casual getup and we had some great seafood, more great caprese salad and split some wonderful desserts. The cocktails... More

The location does not get any better than outside on the breakwater overlooking the beach. The individual pizzas were large and good. The service was friendly and attentive. Nice place to watch a warm day slip away into evening.

We ate lunch and dinner at the brasserie below the main restaurant several times and I think it was one of my favorite restaurants in Positano. The Pizza here is one of the two best in town (only Saraceno d'Oro can compete), prices are fair, wine is good, and service is excellent. The waiters are good with kids and sitting out... More

We had a quick breakfast just before heading to Capri. The coffee was great, orange juice is fresh. My daughter left her sunglasses on the table, the waiter came all the way to the pier and sent back the sunglasses to us. We were so grateful! Grazie!

Tried this restaurant on a recent trip as it was close to the hotel we were staying at and my wife is a huge fan of the movie "Only You"....how disappointing. For a prime location overlooking the main beach and easy over Positano and Praiano in the distance, the restaurant was disappointing. Service was attentive when we first arrived but... More
