Though not a 5 star luxury restaurant, Lo Guarracino had good food and an amazing location on the cliffs facing out over the sea. It was a bit like dining in a treehouse - quite a romantic setting for our first night in Positano.

The food alone would be reason enough to make this a great restaurant. Throw in the location, the view, and the ambience, and you have something truly special here. We were a party of six for lunch. We all ordered something different, and we all tasted each others dishes. Two dishes stood out as being extra extra special - the... More

We stumbled on this place and were charmed immediately by the rustic terrace overlooking the sea. It's away from the touristy areas on the beaches, and you feel like you have the Positano seaside all to your self. Our lunch was delicious. The best melon and prosciutto I've ever tasted, and a pizza topped with mixed seafood -- clams, shrimp,... More

We really enjoyed the fresh seafood cooked in their stone oven. Everything tasted so fresh. We also enjoyed the local vino served in a ceramic pitcher (could the pitcher make the wine taste better:) ). We also split a pizza that turned out to be our fav Pizza in Positano. The owner is very likable and attentive as was the... More

We have been to Positano several times and would not eat anywhere else. The setting of the restaurant...away from the Positano crowds...makes it our first choice. The food and service are unbeatable and it's not the least bit touristy. As with so many restaurants in Italy, it is slow and relaxed dining with a lovely view. Don't miss this gem!

We went this evening on our last evening in Positano and were pretty disappointed based on the other reviews. The food was OK but not wonderful. The fish was too salty and we did not get the "special oven flavor". The service was average at best. Would suggest you skip this one.

Charming romantic setting by the sea. If you enjoy simply cooked sea food you will love this! Family run adds to its charm.

Well worth the five minute uphill walk from the beach area in Positano. The food was very tasty and the server pleasant and very helpful. Prices were fair. When we find ourselves back in Positano, we will definitely head back up that hill!! We shared a Caprese Pizza. My husband had Linguini with a Pescatore sauce. I enjoyed the mussels... More

Staff weren't just unfriendly, they were bordering on the aggressive! The food was quite nice but the staff were so unpleasant it overshadowed the whole meal. A really uncomfortable evening.
