This was a nice break from the crowded front of the Positano port. The owner served us, and he was really fantastic. The food was very good. More simple and fresh tasting. I had grilled fish and pasta, which were enjoyable. I must admit that my favorite part was dessert. Lemon tiramisu was divine! Many restaurants around Positano serve it,... More

Went here on a friend's recommendation and loved it. Restaurant was simply unpretentious with great service and yummy, authentic Italian food. And the walk down, in the dark, looking at the beauty of the sea and city is how you picture the Italian coast. We made a reservation, but did not need it. Note we got lost on our way... More

We had to walk past this restaurant every day to get to our hotel so thought we would give it a try. The family running it were very helpful and friendly and the seafood we ordered was delicious. We had not made a reservation so sat in the older part of the restaurant which was very nice. I looked in... More

Took the easy ten minute walk from Positano's main beach area, along a well maintained stone pathway (slight incline) to reach the idyllic setting overlooking the "second beach," which is way better than the first! Great service, view and food. A perfect lunch or dinner venue away from the madding crowds.

We had dinner at Lo Gurracino about 2 hours after arriving in Positano! We were famished! We were exhausted! And dinner was just perfect! We started with an octopus salad! It was octopus marinated in lemon and olive oil served "cold". This was my husband's highlight of the night! He loved it! I ordered spaghetti with clams and my husband... More

Great, romantic location. Friendly staff that go above and beyond. Worth the little extra walk. Quaint.

Had two lovely dinners here during our stay in Positano. The food was excellent, the view is amazing as it is set on a cliff overlooking the beach, and the service was warm and friendly. Eat here if you can!

Positano is pricey. But that doesn't mean that you should be ripped off. This place has a superb location. But the prices are sky high. Octopus starter which was like chewing through a bowl of rubber. Frito Misto main course that was tired and in part inedible. And a bill for 85 Euros? Come on !!

We ate here on one of our recent evenings in Positano. All four of us fancied pizza and the wood-fired pizzas were very good. Extra salami was requested on one of the pizzas and was given without a problem. We also had a litre of their house red wine, which was pretty good. Two desserts were ordered - 1x chocolate... More

Have eaten in this restaurant a couple of times during our visits to the beautiful Amalfi coast. Worth walking around the corner and away from the crowds for. Fabulous views and excellent food - fish and pizza recommended. Bit pricey but given where it is that is to be expected. Found the waiting staff to be really friendly and if... More
