The best baked cod with clams and peas.... and a lovely bottle of vino suggested by the owner

Another staple in legendary southern Italian style cooking. We loved the fact that Positano is a weight reducing enclave. We had been looking at Donna Rosa for almost a week during our visit to the Amalfi and after a full day adventuring decided to try it at the last minute. It was Halloween so we thought it may be full - luckily at 6 o'clock it was not. We also found out that the next day they would close... More

This tucked away place North of the city centre is a bit of a drive but well worth it. I think I had the best meal of my Italian trip. Yet again, simple, fresh and well prepared. A simple vegetable risotto and what I think is the best panacotta on the planet.

High atop Positano in a quaint little village sits Donna Rosa. It is a great family run restaurant where they stake deep pride in their cuisine. We had great meals there , good wine, and chatted with the chef and her sister. Well worth the price.

With wife and all three daughters, we were driven by free shuttle to this lovely spot. High in the hill above the little port. We loved the mainly female cooks lead by Erika, all on display. It is very much a family affair. The food is standard Amalfi Coast fare but beautifully done. The menu is short, always a good... More

DO NOT miss this place! Fabulous food, wonderfully friendly family service, and the best dining experience to be had in Positano. It was so good we went there two nights in a row. Rosida

Having tried all the other "best" restaurants in Positano, if I chose to descibe any restaurant as the best, this is it. We have been here six times over a five year period I can confirm a consistent performance. The restaurant is run by the family and as other reviewers attest the food and service are as good as it... Donna Rosa was recommended to us by friends who had previously dined there a few years ago. It was there favorite restaurant on the Amalfi Coast. I am glad we took up their recommendation. It was the best meal we have had on our Italy trip. Every meal is made fresh by Momma Rosa or her daughter Erica. The meals... More

They provide a free shuttle from positano which is nice , we were met warmly my mother and son. Served very generous... More
