The restaurant is a bit off-center from Positano, but it is a little escape from the crowds! We ate well and we got the right! The place has a free shuttle reservation. Very convenient and useful. From the center of Positano can be reached by local bus

This is a family owned and loved restaurant. You can literally see the love going into the food preparation because you can see the mother and the daughter cooking in the kitchen. And the kitchen is spotless!!!!! This was our second time there and we were equally pleased with the food and the fabulous wine selection. It was truly our... More

Recommended by hotel and picked up by taxi paid by restaurant. Family owned. Mother owns sister is chef and son waiters. Ambience good since you are Miles up the mountain in a suburb of maybe 900 folks and the room off to the side is so personal and so upscale. Food is four stars and well prepared and presented. Risotto... More

We dined here to celebrate a birthday recently. It is a very small and intimate restaurant. Service is excellent. The restaurant were kind enough to provide transport from our hotel in Positano and back free of charge. The food is very good. I would recommend for a special occasion or romantic evening. Shame that it doesn't have views as then... More

The older man that works here is fabulous! His wine knowledge, and his skill at serving is more than I have seen anywhere else, ever. Food service was good too. They could not have been more attentive. We had a large group, maybe 12 of us. Not sure how everyone else enjoyed their meal, but my 22 year old daughter,... More

Donna Rosa is a wonderful (and romantic) place to eat. They are a family business through and through and it is totally worth the money. They were so incredibly friendly. We really enjoyed our dinner and would highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a special place to eat.

We loved this restaurant's friendly atmosphere and lovely, delicate food. The black and white seafood pasta and limoncello desert were highlights. We'll be back !

It was our second visit to Donna Rosa, the first one being six years ago. We remembered that the experience was better, way better. For starters, our evening got to a very slow start. After being sat down, the service ceremony has begun. We were handed the menus. One for me, with prices mentioned, and one for my girlfriend, without... More

Breath taking taxi ride up the hill to this small family owned restaurant. We dined on bruschetta, caprese salad and had the fantasy of pasta - small portions of three house specialties. Wonderful lemon cream cake for dessert, topped off with lemoncello!

My review of Donna Rossa is over half a year late, but no less enthusiastic. Our night at Donna Rosa was one of the most special evenings of our trip to Italy in May 2013. I had contacted the restaurant through their website about the possibility of helping us celebrate my father in law's 70th birthday with a dessert and... More
