We happened upon this restaurant while trying to find our apartment in Montepertuso and I'm so happy we did! We had driven from San Gimignano to Montepertuso, which is approximately a 5.5 hour drive. When we arrived, we missed the turn to our apartment and ended going through Positano...on a Sunday...during the summer...on very narrow and crowded streets. When we... More

This restaurant was very pretty and clean, we had an amazing meal. But it was more expensive than we expected. We had a great time and would recommend a trip. We stayed in Positano so the restaurant sent a complimentary van to come pick us up from our hotel, and then dropped us back off after the meal. The family... More

This restaurant was highly recommended so I was expecting more. Don't get me wrong- the food was very good. I had black and white pasta and sea bass. We had tiramisu for dessert which was great. We sat on the terrace which was on a very noisy street with a lot of fumes from the buses passing by. There was... More

Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. The food is the best I've had in Positano and he ambience and staff is incredible. So fun to sit by the kitchen and watch the family work together. It was a beautiful experience.

We were picked up from our hotel by a shuttle service that was prompt and professional and driven to the restaurant. From the moment we arrived the owners were very gracious and kind. We were disappointed that there were no views when we arrived but the service and food more than made up for it. The menu was delicious and... More

Donna Rosa is one of the very best in Positano. If you miss it you'll be sorry. We were there in June 2015. We were just out sightseeing and decided to stop for a little something. Donna Rosa was closed however the owner and his wife were so very accommodating they whipped up a wonderful antipasto dish just for us.... More

We have been coming to Donna Rosa for over 15 years and every time it is great! We have enjoyed seeing the family over the years, and the fresh, authentic dishes are awesome. The wine list is full of choices, and they are happy to assist with what is drinking best at the moment. The staff is the family, so... More

I honestly don't understand some of the negative comments left in here about this place - I'm a massive foodie and have eaten at some of the most amazing places but this is up there as one of my favourites - top of the mountain, romantic, classic old school Italian kitchen and dining and the food is the best I've... Was under the impression this restaurant had nice views, but it has no views at all except for the busy street with scooters zooming by. Food was over priced for what you get. Not worth the ride up there.
