We had lunch here one day and it was very good. The wife had a calzone and I had grilled sardines. We shared a nice salad and some red wine. Our table overlooked the beach and ocean where we could see colorful fishing boats sitting on the sand, and watch the tourists looking silly taking pictures with their ipads. The... More

If you're looking for a relaxed dinner while enjoying the island of Capri, this is good for a second or third night. It wasn't the best meal we had in Capri, but it was in our top 3! The wine selection was solid and the food was cooked extremely well. It was our first trip to Italy, so we were... More

I had heard and read great things about Ristorante Buca di Bacco and was excited to try it. Unfortunately, this was the worst meal we had in Italy over the two weeks we were there. I should preface that by saying, it was by NO means horrible, but it was very underwhelming. Very typical American/Italian menu, the pasta dish I... More

The food and service were very good. I stayed in the hotel so I got the 10% off the meal but the location was superb since my table was right facing the water. I would recommend.

Nice setting by the port with great food. The eggplant croquettes were tasty and not greasy. The side of spinach with olive oil and garlic went well with the chicken parmagiana. Ask for extra sauce. The bouillabaisse was outstanding and loaded with shellfish. fish and a giant octopus. A shot of lemoncello finished the meal.

On a recent trip to Positano Italy, I had a chance to eat at this restaurant and I liked it so much I even took their cooking class as well. I had lunch there first and when I found out they had cooking classes I signed up with no reservations. The food is fresh and mouth watering, the view just... More

We had a lot of really great meals during our honeymoon in Italy, so unfortunately, this place had stiff competition. I ordered pasta with pesto and my husband ordered lamb (I think). We were both underwhelmed. Our server was very good, and we sat outside so we had a beautiful view, but for the money, I wish we would've tried... More

We stayed at the Buca Di Bacco Hotel for 3 days and couldn't be happier. We ate at all three of the dining options. Only this restaurant disappointed us. The food and service in Positano sets a very high standard and this place didn't measure up. The food was well prepared and tasty but the service was the problem. The... More
