Wine list was good and they sell half bottles. Food was good, pizza was filling and tasty cooked in the typical stone ovens used in the region. Only issue we had was the atmosphere in the restaurant was a little bit dead, despite the fact that it was full. Lighting was full on and a little blinding and their was... More

We were staying at the hotel and decided to try this on our first night. While the meal was pleasant it was not great, and the overall level was let down by poor service. To start we asked for an antipasto seafood platter stipulating we did not want any frozen seafood on it. to our surprise, it included 2 frozen... More

My husband and I attend the cooking school at Buca di Bacco. There were eight students and three chefs. The chefs had created a fun menu that taught us how to make fresh pasta, gnocchi, lasagne, tomato sauce, pesto, and cream puffs. Each step we were carefully watched, coached, and given important chef tips about the process. The class was... More

After being on the beach at Positano for a few days, we kept walking past Buca di Bacco on our way back up the hill through Positano. To me it looked like a touristy restaurant and I really did not want any part if it. But after checking Trip Advisor and saw the reviews we decided to try it for... More

Boyfriend and I shared fabulous zuccini flowers stuffed with mozzarella. For mains we had steamed sea bass and asparagus with mash (with garlic at boyfriend's special request) and pasta with seafood. There was no shortage of seafood including razor clams which I had not eaten before. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. We were just visiting... More

Hard to get a better location, especially if you can grab a table on the balcony overlooking the water. Food was very good. Waiters were friendly.

Not the best meal of our trip. Food was good, but not the quality we enjoyed at other Positano restaurants. I would count this as a "back up" location if other places are closed, etc. Again, good food, just not thrilling.

My 4th visit to Positano and I finally tried this little gem. The veal stew was extraordinary with chestnuts and white wine. Amazing. Great service, lovely view.
